This is a very fast camera I catch a lot of action shots.

A lot to learn but like what I see so far. Look forward to really using it.

The a6000 is great for stills. recording is ok as long as you're on a tripod or a 3 axis gimbal. the image stabilization isn't the best on this camera. Also if you're recording make sure to keep it short, since there's still overheating issues.

I bought this but returned it immediately. It was too heavy and the lenses were too many and too expensive.

I bought this camera bundle and priced matched it for a cheap deal of $700 and it's worth every penny. I just came back from a trip and it was the best travel camera replacement to my DSLR that I used to bring on trips. Great shutter speed and high quality photos. Less bulky and suitable for an every day camera. Best camera purchase ever.

I bought this camera when it was a fairly new product. It is a great camera, while it lasts. After less than a year the kit lens stopped working. This is a common problem. Google it. Now after 1.5 years the camera body is going bad. The buttons on the back stopped working. This is also a common problem. Sony is not doing to help correct their faulty equipment. I have been a long fan of Sony products, but they have lost a customer.

Poor camera I had send the camera twice for the same reason lends no recognize I buy it for special occasion but couldn't use because of this problem I won't recommende I even bought the insurance but it won't change it keep out of this camera avoid very fragile

I have owned several point and shoot cameras from Samsung, Olympus, Canon and Kodak, and one DSLR, the Canon Rebel Xsi. My review relates to one area of significant importance to me due to my familial tremor, which is the OSS (Optical Steady Shot). This tremor ruins virtually all of my pictures. I often have to take 4 or 5 in the hope that I can walk away with one with minimal to no blur. My Canon Rebel wasn't terrible, but didn't provide me with enough pictures to merit bringing the more bulky camera along on my trips. On the A6000, when I press the shutter halfway, the scene locks in and I am good to go. I have taken long range shots (mostly for practice) using the 50-210mm lens, Obviously, the longer the distance the greater the shake. Certainly my shake is worse than most. These pictures came out beautifully. I can't say enough good things about this camera. Also, you may want to know that the camera is extremely light and fires off a mind bending 11 pictures per sec (only tried that once, but it worked).

I wanted a wildlife/action camera, so the 11fps was important. It's one of my favorite sounds..chchchchchchch as it snaps photos in multimode. I'm really impressed with the quality of the images, and I'd buy it again! Cons: not great documentation, and there's so many features and menu items that it can be overwhelming. It can track a person and automatically focus on that person in a crowd. And other things that are really cool. You just have to watch user's videos to learn how to really use those.

Very nice camera. I compared with the A7II but that was going to cost me around $3,500 with the kit lens and then adding the 35mm 1.4 lens I wanted. I was able to get this camera on sale with the addition 50mm lens for under a grand. I looked a comparison pictures all over the internet between this Sony A6000 and the A7|| and could not see a noticeable difference in quality. The pictures are vibrant with color.

I am glad I bought this camera before our trip. We have amazing pictures. I mostly used the 16-50 lens and set it on Auto, and the results were incredible. I am very happy with this purchase.

This camera is an affordable yet highly capable alternative to a DSLR camera. It is smaller than a DSLR as well, so it is much easier to travel with. Image quality and hardware build quality are both superb.

This camera is amazing. Picked it up on Sale was amazing. Silly little bag wont hold everything.

Overheats and shuts off after about 10-15 minutes of video or 20-30 minutes of continuous shooting. Great for a "hobby" camera, and grabbing a few shots here and there, but if you need to capture a performance, event, interview, or anything longer than 20 minutes, it will overheat and shut off, and you will miss important things. Without the overheating, this would be quite a nice camera. The pictures and videos look very good. But if the thing shuts off on you when you really need it, the picture quality doesn't matter in the slightest. Battery life is also pretty disappointing. All in all I'm unhappy and will be returning this camera. I was very hopeful, but this isn't the winner. I'll keep looking!

Bought this bundle during black friday and am very happy with. The autofocus is quick and accurate. Takes sharp photoss. The bundle lenses arent the best, but they still take very decent photos. And for the price that I got them I cant complain.

Best camera in class (Mirrorless) focus is so fast sometimes you almost forget about focusing the camera on your subject or that focusing is even one of things you have to do or limitations that cameras have until you use a different one!
