Having worked with 35mm SLR film cameras for years, I would have to say Sony provides a great camera with exceptional auto-focus for a nice price. A full range of features for the more experienced user and full automation for the beginner. I opted to purchase a prime lens, Sigma 60mm F2.8 DN/A, as an alternative to the supplied kit lens which is decent but not as sharp as the Sigma.

Very nice camera. Has a lot of great features and is compact.

I can now capture great photo of my dog without missing the shot. Other cameras I would capture after the fact shots, like missing her smile, face. My dog hates picture taking so I can not capture the moment! This camera is fast! I am going to family member graduation soon and hope to capture great shots!

I love photography and I'm pretty good at taking photos, but have never taken any classes. I bought this camera so I can take photography classes. I've taken the camera to a few places already and love the pictures it takes. For anyone that loves photography but has never made the step into professional photos, this camera provides a great foundation. I highly recommend it.

Easy to use and crip/clear photography. Love to travel with this camera. I know other people that use and love this same model.

Its a great budget friendly camera i have enjoyed using it. Only wish it was like the a5000&5100 and had a flip screen instead of tilting.

Camera takes very detailed, beautiful images. Kit lenses have distortion, but Lightroom has the built in profile to get rid of it (if you want to - sometimes that distortion is fantastic). The menu would appeal to a rocket scientist and sometimes it seems to get on settings I didn't choose. I'm still trying to figure out why the viewfinder got dim (I have it on Auto brightness). Limited choice of lenses, unless you get a Metabones adapter. Even shooting boat races, I didn't need 11 frames/sec, but you can change it to mid or low speed. It has become my main waling around camera.

I love this camera!! The picture quality is astounding for such a small camera. Why lug around a bulky DSLR when you can have the same quality (if not better) in such a small package. The autofocus is great. 11 frames per sec is phenomenal. The only thing is that the included 16-50mm lens is not the greatest but you can always buy a more expensive higher quality lens.

I've gone through a lot of cameras and was not happy with the quality of photos. The first one I took with this camera convinced me this is the camera for me. I took a picture of my cat, Caesar, and it was perfect! The color and detail are so much better than the point and shoot cameras I have had in the past. I just purchased a telephoto lens and am excited to use it!

Easy to use camera with super fast shutter speed at 11 FPS. When you preview the pictures it is like watching a movie. You will never miss that perfect picture. Even with the zoom lens, it focuses on the subject extrememly fast with perfect picture quality...never a blur. A must have camera!

Great camera for both shots and video recording. Ease of use is a plus.

This is an excellent camera. I've been a photographer for over 10 years. I've shot with Nikon and Canon, but this is the best camera I have ever used. I've had it for about a month and I've already done several photoshoots with it. It's well thought out and the image quality is outstanding. Whether you're a pro or a beginner, you will be very satisfied with the Sony A6000.

This is a full feature camera for serious shooters. The possibilities for creating your vision in photography are all enclosed in a compact size. Fast frame rates for action. Apps to down load for additional creative tools. That you won't find in my 5d2. My 5d2 is no slouch but bulky as carry around town. Looking forward to shooting with the rokinon 12mm of the milkyway .

Slightly heavy but if you create video context. This is your go to camera. Amazing resolution both on pictures and videos.

Great camera! Took it on my trip to Europe and wasn't sure if it can handle the load. It did very well. I took over 700 pictures and some videos, transfer them onto my Samsung tablet and waalaah! perfect every time. Just have to set it to the right setting. Which is a peace of cake.
