This camera does everything I wanted it to be able to do. It is a great camera for taking pictures in low light situations.

This is my first camera and i have to say, its a beauty. Although kit lens that it comes with isnt that great, i would recommend purchasing an addition lens with it. Overall it has done everything I need it to do!

As a professional photographer (100% canon gear 1dx II, 5d4 etc) I can say that this camera is def worth the money. We purchased this camera for our Disneyland trip (didn't want to take the heavy Dslr's) and for a vacation it's perfect! Light, long battery life and good quality for the money.

Excellent mirrorless camera, compact and packed with features, would definitely recommend. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that it does not include a hot shoe cover, leaving the contacts exposed. Might not be a big deal, but it would be better if it included that small piece of plastic.

You have to look far and wide for a better value. This is my fourth Sony camera and they just keep getting better

I loved this camera! Super fast. 11 fps!! Most are only 4. I ended up returning this camera. The ONLY reason of the return was bc it was to complicated for me!! It had menus, sub menus etc. I wanted a camera just a bit more simple! In the future I would really like to buy this camera once again!

Came in for a DLSR and left with this beauty. Mirrorless is the way to go, baby. So much lighter and all of the capability of interchangeable lenses. Sony took over Minolta's fine line of photography. The camera feels solid and was a great buy for my son.

I bought this camera as a lighter weight option to my canon dslr for traveling. So far i've had it for about a month and i'm really loving the picture quality of this camera. I hate that the screen doesn't flip out like my Canon but that's ok. I'll mainly use this for B roll and not self images.

This camera allows me to do a lot of different things, picture quality is great and the apps make editing your pictures fun, wi-fi pictures transfers work every time with no issues at all. So far nothing wrong with the camera, just buy an extra battery and you will be very pleased with it.

Purchased this camera to replace my NEX5, which has been very good for 5 years, until it no longer recognized media cards. The A6000 takes fantastic photos, however the operation is a clumsy compared to my past Sony experience. It's disappointing that it does not function as a touch screen, especially with developments in tochnology over the past 5 years, and the fact that my NEX5 was a touch screen model. The tiltable screen is a great 'must have' function, a nice 'carry over' from my past Sony. The flicker of the screen, which often blacks out for a second or two when moving the device, is down right frustrating. Even with a warrantied repair & full cleaning through GeekSquad, the problem has not been rectified. Upon return from GeekSquad, the camera no longer recognizes the media card when selecting play mode, unless you remove and reinsert the card (and even then that's only a temporary fix). I do appreciate that the lens receiver, battery, media card slot remain consistent from similar Sony models years back, offering easy use of existing components.

great value. easy to use. it is tiny, which makes it easy to drop, but also easily fits in your pocket.

Got this for my wife for x-mass and she really likes it however/ she thinks it is a little to technical for her use.

This thing is perfect. I've used it as a point and shoot. I've done some pretty solid cinematic shooting. It's mirrorless so it's pretty compact.. but it has some serious power! Take a second to look at some examples of shots and videos on YouTube. You'll be sold!

This is the best camera I've ever owned! I've only owned a couple previously but this one is by far the best. I'll definitely have to purchase other lenses for different types pf photos/lighting. I'm by no means a photographer but I have a 2 year old and his Mom likes to take many, many photos.

Love this camera. Easy to use for and has tons of options. Great for moving objects like young kids and sports! I recommend this to anyone who wants a great camera and isn't a professional. Super Easy!

I did a ton of research and I am a consumer who wants versatility at rock bottom price. My complaints about this camera are 1) lack of mic jack. 2) lack of Mp4 options. 3) not weather sealed. 4) stock lens poor on low light and I wish it was something like 18-100mm ; even those complaints have work around. I love the size, the feel and have yet to even come close to using its full potential. Call me crazy but I was having a tough time choosing this, a Nikon d3300, a Canon Eos m3, a Sony a68 or a panasonic g7. The g7 lost due to sensor size and feel of body construction. the a68 was pending release and body size just seemed to big for edc. the m3 has no view finder, is slower/buggy and support doesn't seem as good. D3300 body size just again felt limiting. None of the others were terrible, just not a good picture/video package for me. I plan to hack a hot shoe mic to add mic in and with a Canon FD adapter there are are a million cheap lens for low light to fill in the kit lens gaps. I actually like everything about the kit lens other than the lack of low light.

Love my sony A6000. I heard so many good things about this camera before i bought it and i understand why. I shoot weddings, familes, seniors. And i am starting to do videos. And this camera is perfect for all of that.
