I shoot mainly video for weddings. The features that the a6500 has really help get good footage. From shooting 4k (shoots 6k and compresses it to 4k) to the touch screen focusing... this thing is awesome... not perfect by any means but overall and awesome camera especially for the price. I use it on my gimbal a lot.

This is my go-to camera in my collection, and the one I have the most lenses for. Love the quality of the photography and intelligent design of the device. Once you learn photography basics and concepts, this is a good camera to practice with if you want to get to the next level.

My Husband did his research and found this is what he needed. He is loving all the new things he is finding and loves the focus that it has. The other day he shot a pic upside down and the camera turned it right side up for him. We are very pleased with this camera!

If I'm going to get picky, the only thing I'd like to add would be 4k 60fps video recording but for the price point, can't beat the features and functions.

I did a lot of research on this camera. I also consulted with some pros and they gave this camera high marks. I justed used it for our family vacation and it performed great. I plan to take it on our trip to Canada and hopefully get some amazing shots. So far I am satisfied.

This latest addition of the Sony a 6000 series provides a superb mirrorless 4K camera for the advanced beginner and professional alike. The user will find it helpful to view online instructional videos before requiring ongoing camera usage.

The a6500 is like a Swiss Army knife for photo and video. Just wish the screen was better in full sun.

Easy to use camera, and nice upgrade from A6300. Additional features are great, and the ability to shoot at 120fps.

I'm an avid Sony camera owner. Had the NEX line and the a6000. The a6500 is definitely an awesome upgrade! Love the endless buffer! Just make sure you have a fast enough card so it writes faster after the multi-shots.

After shooting canon the past 15 years I decided to try out a mirror less for videography. I started with the a6000, really was disappointed after a few months of owning. I decided to try again with the A6500 and see if the 4K made the difference. And I was right. This camera is amazing. My only “eh” with Sony is that they are very very fragile. The kit lens is junk and will internally break like a twig. Other than that great.

I have always been a fan of Sony mirrorless cameras! I have owned about 5 of them. This one is by far my favorite. It does so much and the 4K recording was the reason I got it. Works flawlessly!

This camera is awesome! Coming, from the a6000, I am like the touch screen and the larger buffer for burst shots. I shoot alot of my son's basketball games and this camera get the job done!

Image quality is great but it overheats so easily!

Awesome camera. Fast shutter speed is perfect for my skate photography. 1080p recording is gorgeous. Haven't really used 4k at the moment. The 18-105 is a very good companion as well.

Great Camera. This is everything that I expected from Sony. I would have liked for the back screen to move more like most of their other lines. Aside from that, it is a great product.

This sony a6500 replaced my compact mirrorless camera that I owned before it. The sony is not as compact as my old Samsung, but still definitely lighter and smaller than a standard DSLR. Performance wise, it is quite an upgrade for me. I was looking for a better focusing system and better ISO tolerance and am very happy with the results so far.

My introduction to the mirrorless system was the A6000. I wanted an upgrade so i got this for the better video capabilities. It did not disappoint.
