    Excellent for photo and video especially in low light compared to APSC mirrorless cameras. Don't like that the screen doesn't flip out, but there are workarounds. The camera isn't compatible with the new creators app and the old play memories app doesn't work with the camera anymore. Video and mic quality on here are great for the price point.

    Being my first “real” camera, it’s been a learning curve for sure but as I spend time with it, I’m getting more acquainted with it. It’s a great camera that takes awesome pictures and video. It’s perfect for what I intend to use it for, as I plan on spending the money on quality glass. I like how you can customize the functions on the various buttons, helps with familiarity. From the time I’ve spent with it, the autofocus does a pretty good job with just the kit lens but I’m excited to upgrade the lens. I’m giving 4 stars because the back screen can be a little dark in certain lighting and the software for transferring photos via WiFi to my phone is no longer supported so a hard connection is needed. Nonetheless, it’s a great starting point for a camera kit and I’m excited to push this thing to see how far it can go!

    Sonya7iii remains a very relevant camera producing professional pictures. It’ can be a complicated learning process but it’s an excellent choice And for the price, not one better

    Newish photographer, but bought the A7III as something I could grow into. Was debating DSLR vs Mirrorless, and really glad I went this route! The body is compact and much easier to deal with than a dslr. I was worried that I wouldn't like the viewfinder on the mirrorless, but it has pleasantly surprised me - really clear and provides a great representation of what I'm shooting. The camera feels extremely well built, like it was machined out of a solid block of aluminum. Crazy fast shooting rate, and the pictures I have been able to take (even with my limited experience) have been really impressive. So many great features, I can't wait to learn and try them all. Was deciding between this and the Nikon Z6, the only thing I liked more on the Nikon was the bigger screen and better touch interface, along with a better viewfinder. But in the end I want to take better pictures, and for me the Sony clearly had the advantage there.

    Purchased this Camera earlier this year. after doing quite a bit of research, I landed on the Sony A7iii. it is a somewhat difficult camera to set up, but once you do, the options that it has make it so easy to set your settings to exactly what you want in no time. one thing to note if you are going to get into the Sony ecosystem... the native Sony glass is not cheap! it is amazing though. I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone that wants to get into photography. If you're thinking about getting this camera, stop second guessing yourself and go get it. you will not regret it!

    I bought the camera primarily for adventure and landscape photography. Image quality is incredible, dynamic range is outstanding and ease of use is excellent. The lens is...eh. It's a cheap kit lens but it does the job for now. Can't recommend this camera enough, but prefer to use it with the Sony 24-105mm lens.

    Fantastic camera even in 2022, would highly recommend. I've been using the A7iii for almost three years and love it. Very high quality images and in body stabilization with eye auto focus, can't beat that combo.

    Coming from a fixed lens Fuji, this was a big jump but it was worth every penny. The menu system gets negged but it's not that complicated to learn. So far the shots I've got out of it have been outstanding, I was looking at a Canon or this and I'm very glad I went for the Sony. Highly recommend it.
