I just came from the Zeiss 35mm Distagon lens and I feel like that lens has way more chromatic aberration and is also way less sharp. The only thing that would make this lens better is that if the USA could figure out how to make one in the USA, so I'll knock off two points for that...3/5

Have spent 20k this year alone . All my items are less then 24 months old , had a small simple issue fixed - vs the store manger in Ocala arguing and end of day not replacing a 40 phone screen . Mamger in ocala should def not manage anything.

If you are a video shooter or content creator looking for a lens that is good for both photo and video stay away from this lens because the focus breathing is absolutely horrendous it has ruined a ton of shots. I will be picking up the 35mm 1.8 instead. If Sony adds focus breathing compensation to the A7Siii / FX3 then this lens would be usable for video but until then I will be using something else with my FX3 and A7c. If you are shooting on the Sony A7iv then this is irrelevant since that camera body does have Focus Breathing Compensation.
