I had been using zoom lenses for the most part. I bought this to use for travel and family photos. I find that this lens, along with an 85 mm, meets most of my needs, except where I need a telephoto. The picture quality is outstanding

Phenominal Lens!

It has crystal clear definition and focuses as smooth as any you’ll find. I haven’t used this too much yet, but it’s in the go bag now and will get a daily workout.
