Everything it can do any modern smart tv can do except play dvd. I reccomend a cheaper player that doesnt have the apps and stuff if you already have a newer tv. Othrr than that it has always worked except for once i bought a brand new terminator disk from the same bestbuy and it gave me a strange error saying the disk wasnt formatted properly. Never had that happen before and dont have another player to test it.

There is no screen setting provided to accommodate those, and most of our existing DVD library is in older formats.

This player does the trick. Easy install and operation and compatibility with my "dumb TV." Wireless connectivity a plus. Almost purchased unit that required ethernet connectivity.
