quality of the streaming is so good much better then expected

Excellent purchase, this is just what I needed. With technology changing so quickly, this device allows me to keep using my older media.

This Blue Ray player has met my needs, affordable.

Good player, however, it does not have the Hulu app on it, which is a disappointment.

We have been using this blu-ray dvd player for over a week. The kids enjoy using it watching Netflix a lot. Unfortunately, already twice the screen did not go to the main screen when the kids wanted to watch a DVD. It happend at the same time as our wifi went down. Then it took about 30 minutes for the main screen to appear.

I am VERY demanding about both video and audio quality. This is a small, simple device yet gives amazng results from my best blu ray revordings: both video and audio come across at top quality on my high level 4k sony 70 “ tv, and my studio level receiver and my audiophile B & W speakers.

Got a great price, easy set up (literally took less than 5 minutes), very easy to use. I bought this one after purchasing the BDP-S6500 about a year ago for my TV in the main living area. I liked it so much, that I got the S6700 one for the bedroom. I've had it a few months now and I've yet to be disappointed!

Easy to "plug and play" - nice size - easy to operate - good picture and no freezeing

Previously I had purchased 3 Sony Blue Ray players - 1 lasted 13 months, the 2nd lasted 1 month, and the 3rd lasted 2 days before malfunctioning. The Sony warranty covered the 1st, Best Buy the 2nd and 3rd - and this model I purchased a month ago is a step up- and I have had no problems whatsoever.

Works great! My daughter took my last one so I replaced it with this! Works like it should!

I love Sony products and this little guy is a very nice blu ray player. My only concern is the front tray. It works fine now but down the road? The tray kicks open the front panel. It's little flimsy so I am worried it might give at some point but that shouldn't stop you from getting it.

I bought this Sony 4K player, because I have purchased 4 previous Sony Bluray players over the past 8 years. Have 3 currently on my rack. These players are universal disc compatible. I enjoy HiRes audio(SACD,BluRay audio, DualDisc DVD, etc.) 2 of the players I got for my daughters.

Very easy to set up and use. Outputs a beautiful, clear video with great sound. The remote is easy to navigate and has good range. The only thing missing is a time counter so that u can see how long u have watch and how much time is remaining when u pause the disc.

I like the fact that it is Compact and works well.

All you need for playing BluRay and DVD, I’ve ran Moana and Nemo through it well over 5,000 times and it’s still going!

What can I say but that it's a blu-ray player a mind of its own and the temperament of a child. Works when it wants.....freezes when it wants to stir the trouble pot. Glad I got the Geek Squad protection. I will say this: it has great sound with vids.

I purchased this about a year ago, and have absolutely NO complaints! The device has never failed to work as advertised, and the output quality is great. I have found Sony products relaible and easy to operate.
