It does not have many apps for streaming only the basic; Amazon, Netflixs, VUDU and YouTube. It plays blu ray and dvd well. The occasional glitch and the players needs to be unplugged to work again. There are only 2 brands to choose from now Sony and L.G.

Works great so far. Only have one blue ray I have used on it but it worked great. Setting up the remote for the tv was super simple too. May be a little on the cheaper end when it comes to the components, but I haven't had an issue.

I recently bought this to replace an older Samsung Blu-ray player that would quite often have glitches playing DVDs or Blu-rays. So far I'm very happy with this player; no issues and great value. I do not use the streaming features so can't comment on those.

We wanted a bare-bones blu-ray/CD player. This does that job.

Set up was easy and it has high quality viewing pleasure.

It is working seamlessly. For me, this is terrific as I am not that tech-savvy.

Easy setup and seeing use within minutes. Plays great and love that a green light illuminates making me aware that power is on. Replacing a 4 year old Samsung that died after seeing very little use. Hoping So y comes through in the clutch!!!

This works very well, and is user friendly. Only downfall is that I bought this thinking that it would play 4k discs, but it doesn't. It just upscales DVDs and regular blu ray discs to be viewed in 4K.

I love it. I had accidently purchased a dvd, i only had Blue Ray. I needed somthing that would play both.

My wife has has a large DVD collection and has grown to like this player because it also has several Apps that streamline her experience. She's loving it. also, it's hooked to a Sony TV that further cuts down on difficulties and conflicts.

It works as expected ... and I've trusted the manufacturer & model for many years.

Only reason I returned this Blu-ray player, is because when I play movies from my usb flash drive, it doesn’t display the subtitles on most of my movies. Other then that, Blu-ray movies looked great on this player.

We liked this product a lot when we first bought it. Easy to set up, easy to use. Within a couple of months, we began having problems with internet connectivity. Would lose the connection and we'd have to reboot about once a week. Other times would just freeze in the middle of a program. We have an identical one in another room with NO internet connectivity problems, so it has to be this device. Now we can't connect at all, so it's useless.

Bought it for the Bluetooth - latency issues, with no way to correct it. As a player it was great, but couldn't do what I bought it for. If you're buying it for the player, go for it. If you're buying it for the Bluetooth, check that first before you fall in love. Back it went.

This is the greatest little machine ever!! Not only does it play Blu-Ray disks but, it does so much more. It has apps, games, internet links, movie channels and much much more. I have a 73" tv in my family room, and this just made everything so much more fun!!!!!! Thank you!

Small in size but large in ability. So many places connected. Can go directly to many places without even worrying about addresses. I go to Netflix instantly. The USB port is great for prerecorded video and is simple to connect.

I'd already bought and returned an LG that supposedly got Hulu but didn't. The Hulu logo was on the box on this one, so I thought it would be a safe bet. Nope. Hulu is no longer available on most Sony BR players (as of August 2019). I'm sure it's fine for other things, but I needed it to be Hulu compatible. Compared to the comparably priced LG, it is must easier to set up. I returned it, decided to bail on Hulu access for my parents. They'll just need to upgrade their TV sometime soon.

Straight forward player and great value. While 3D is no longer the rage, does the job for those with disks we still love to watch. A nice surprise feature is built-in wireless display receiver that connects with PC/phone without need for additional device on TV or receiver.

The Sony - BDP-S6700 Streaming 4K Upscaling Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player was easy to set up and use with a 32 inch LED TV. I first used it with a class of 12 students. The colors were vivid, the sharpness was excellent and the sound was very clear from the TV speakers.

This DVD player works great and there is minimal setup require. Pretty much just plug in and go and it’s set up. Not really a huge fan of having internet capabilities on the device itself, but you are not required to connect to the internet.
