The description of this was misleading as I thought I was buying a 4K UHD blu-ray. When I discovered it was not, it was too late to return. The Blu-ray player plays fine, but I am annoyed at the way Best Buy described it.

We bought the Sony - BDP-S6700 Streaming 4K Upscaling Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player - Black to replace a Sony BDP-S6200 unit that quit working. The newer model is great! Easy to set up, access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and lots of other streaming sites. Can't beat the price!

Brought my old DVD's new life! I can not have full advantage of 4G, but I have all these "old" DVD treasures that I enjoy--even more now.

I have enough streaming devices, I haven't even bothered trying to setup the streaming on this. I just needed a Blu-Ray player and it works easily as that. Quality of image seems fine for our 70", so no complaints there.

Works great with my new TV. It was easy to install and works as advertised.

This was to replace my old one that was giving me troubles, didn’t have quite as many features, but the old one was becoming a pain. I like that the features are “new” and updated, but would like to figure out how to add more apps if possible.

I bought this to replace a dead Blu-ray player and haven't been disappointed. I don' have a 4K TV and have no plans to buy one in the near future. However, I opted for this model due to it being able to use 802.11ac.

We were considering getting one of the new smart TVs, but since ours was just a few years old didn't want to spend the money. Purchasing this Blu Ray player has given us the Smart TV we wanted without spending that extra money. We love all the apps and features included.

who really needs a bluray pmayer anymore... but if ur looking this one is slick and does the job.

We have a los of DVD and we lo es to watch everytime we grand together at home or with the in-laws

Picture is sharp and sound is pleasant. It has apps you want to have and add to it like Netflix, Amazon Prime... The blue-ray colors are stunning just like in theater. Regular dvd is sharp, define, very pleasant.

I bought this device to replace an old Samsung and have been pleasantly surprised with it. While not planning on streaming, its built in WiFi has allowed me to do that and it works quite well. We liked it enough to buy a second one to replace an old Sony.

This is Blue Ray player as opposed to the BDP S3700. This player does not constantly disconnect from the internet and not freeze while playing DVD. The best new item is the Bluetooth button and connection.

Works faster than previous versions. Smooth. Limits are: USB port does not recognize Hard Drive sizes above 2TB. And of course it does not play MP4 files with resolutions higher than 1080. Still, I like it very much for that front USB port for reviewing my HD video edits.

Works great for me! I don’t use the apps, since my tv has them already. However, my dvd viewing is of excellent visual quality! I had no problems setting up and connecting to my tv. No issues, yet.

Hooked up and operating in 30 minutes! ....I have had 4 SONY Blue Ray players and ALL performed very well. ALL MY ELECTRONICS ARE FROM BEST BUY! I have lots of Blue Ray DVD's, DVD's & CD's!

While disc players are slowly going the way of the dinosaurs, I have a large enough Blu-ray collection to justify still having a player. The fact this player also works with SACDs is icing on the cake!

Best place to go lots of items to choose from i would give it a 10 star's
