when our PlayStation 3 died we decided to get a blue-ray player that streamed and were very happy that this one offered everything we wanted, player, amazon, Netflix and Hulu. Unfortunately after we got it home and hooked it u the Hulu app didn't work. Turns out the player didn't support the Hulu app since August and we bought this in the middle of September. Very disappointing.

All of my Tv’s and video equipment are Sony. This is a great Blu-ray player for all of your DVDs. Sony is top quality on video. Bestbuy makes it great to supply these products.

I needed another Blu/Ray DVD for my new TV. This fit the bill exactly.

This little unit really stands up to the bigger boys. It does what it is suppose to do, and does not take alot of time to setup and get going. A 10 year old could do it with no problems. The play back is quick and clean.

Great DVD player to have if you don’t have a smart tv. Only downfall is it doesn’t appear you can download every streaming service like Hulu or Disney plus.

I purchased a Best Buy open box offering for this unit. Quite frankly that description was a bold faced lie. The unit was supposedly reviewed by the geek squad and was rated in excellent working condition - which was absolutely, unequivocally not true. When I opened the box (which has seen far better days) I found the unit filthy. I hooked it up, turned it on and connected it to my wifi network without issue. However, that was the last positive thing that happened. When I attempted to actually play a blu ray disc, the unit did not recognize the disc. I tried multiple other discs NONE WERE READ successfully. All of the discs i tried work just fine on my 10 year old blu ray player. I packed it up (better than the substandard packing it arrived in) and am sending back for a refund. It certainly appears that their Geek Squad quality control processes are non-existent. This is the last time I will purchase a “Open Box“ unit from Best Buy. Would rate zero stars if that were an option. I’d appreciate a call from a Best Buy representative to understand how the unit I received could be rated “open box - Excellent Condition”. But I won’t hold my breath.

Bought and returned two of these, both with same problem. Streaming works fine. Newer blu-rays play fine. Some older blu-rays, from around 2011 (not really that old) won't play in this unit. They play fine in an older Sony machine as well as in a new Sony Blu-ray player that is not a 4K-upscaler. But this unit just freezes and has to be unplugged to free it up. Other on-line reviews describe similar problem. So...beware.

Works great. Very small and light. Easy to move from one room to another.

It's very difficult to tell if this really upscales. Blu-rays play as they do on other players, and streaming through this machine just seems like normal HD on my 86" LG set. But perfectly acceptable.

Our old Blu-Ray player would no longer make it through a movie without issues, so it was time to find a replacement. So far, easy to get up and running.

I purchased the Sony BDP-S6700 Blu Ray Player and could not be happier. It's everything that I needed and was just as it was described.

This player has lots going on in a small package. Price is also great.

It works wonderful!!It was easy to install and once it was conected and turned on the TV , and inserted a DVD it was great. Very happy and pleased.

I got this when my internet/cable tv cable was broke and it took a week to repair. I watched DVDs the whole time. Great buy!!!

Like many, I was fooled into thinking that this was a quality product. It did not play any 4K discs, and as time went on, most of the apps stopped working or were removed. It became nearly useless. Don't waste your money.

Is still working after 3 months. That's all I will say as I don't want to jinx it.

This unit is pretty amazing the only downside is it does not have a front display of chapters/minutes and would love to have a detachable AC power cord!
