I needed a new blu ray player, but I wanted one that could download apps like a fire stick. I went to the Winter Garden store and stood there for thirty minutes to be ignored. There were no models for me to look at so I had to order it online. The description was deceptive, which I didn't find out until it arrived. It works well enough for a player, but there needs to be product in store, better online description and available assistance. Ive been a rewards member since 1999 so I know it is possible

This DVD player was very simple to hook up and so far it is exceeding my expectations. I am very happy and have already recommended this DVD player to a good friend.

Very nice player. Can do tricks I don’t really need (like choose xfinity channels) but it plays Blu-ray down to audio CDs with no problem

Beenvery happy with our purchase of the blue ray player, especially the bluetooth to create wireless access to netflix and prime through our not-smart tv.

I have not used this product yet, but I’m sure it will work just fine or Best Buy will stand behind it.

this is my 2nd sony BR player in 3 years - last one just died so i bought a better model about $75 - its been great, i don;t use it for anything but the player but it has smart functions as well

Great Blu-Ray player from Sony. Easy to get up & running & got a great deal from Best Buy.

With all these modern components added to a dvd player. I hope soon the new one will add multi cd disc, dvd disc, and usb drives input connectors to it. #Thanks

I bought this player as it said it upscaled to 4k. I was very nervous about getting it as it is a Sony and Sony has a tradition of being absolute garbage. I have owned, used and sold Sony products throughout my life and they are typically expensive and of the lowest quality. It has been several years since I used a Sony so I took a gamble and it was the only model in stock that said it would upscale to 4K. I regret taking a chance with this Player. It has many issues. The player says there is no disc found when it is loading up so you may find yourself opening the tray thinking there is no disc in it when there is. It stretches older 4:3 aspect ratio videos to full of near full screen and you cannot get it to stop doing so. It is annoying since it distorts the image. The supposed upscaling is unnoticeable so it may not even really exist. It will not autoplay where you left off on a movie if you stop it or turn it off and come back to finish. Cheap players can all do that. I have to change the player's audio setting everytime I turn it on or stop and restart a video or my sound bar can't find an audio signal. This player is an absolute pain in the backside.

Good, simple unit that performs as it should......

Works awesome but doesn't play ultra HD. I wish I would have known this and paid more attention to the technology... Live and learn.

I am very pleased with this purchase, this Blu-ray player provide all the functions I wanted and at a very reasonable price.

This is the only model that's worked well for me. The other ones I've bought did well at first but gave me problems later. I don't understand it but this one continues to work fine.

This is an inexpensive Sony Blue Ray player that has it all, WiFi, upscaling and apps. I love it.

Quality was good. Viewing photos was slow but pics were good quality.

It replace the broken old DVD player. WiFi built in is great. Can watch both regular dvds and Blu-ray. Wish had gotten it much earlier!

Replacement of another Sony Blu-ray player. Half the size of the previous model and is a very much needed upgrade. I will continue to buy Sony products.

Does a good job of up scaling dvd's to play closer to 4K quality. However, this unit does NOT play 4K Ultra dvd's. I only found that out after purchasing it.

Works great. Doesn’t make any sound while movie is playing. No issues with the buttons. Opens smoothly. It’s Sturdy. Happy with this purchase.

Not many people use a DVD player anymore. If you do and are looking for a n one, I highly recommend this one.
