I am using this as a back up its not my main player that's why I'm giving it 2 stars other wise it would have been a zero. Unit is clunky and not responsive. I tried to connect my computer via Bluetooth my computer found and paired the player but the player is not accepting the signal. The unit does a good job of upscaling dvd content though and that's about the only complimentary thing I can say about the unit. I would go with a Panasonic or Oppo (if you can still find one) The other irritating thing about this player if you pause or not play for about 15 minutes it completely shuts itself down so you have to restart the whole thing which is super annoying. My Panasonic allows me to choose the time between 15 min to 2 hours as to when it will shutdown when idle. Will never buy a Sony again...

Hookup was simple enough. No problems encountered with installation. Even the wireless setup was easy for a "Not-tech savvy" person. The size is one half of the old unit.

The Blu-ray DVD is exactly as it was described. It pairs well with the TV that was bought and is Compact and easy to they were views on hundreds of use.

Bought this for our guest cabin on my property. Looks great.

Slow in switching between different apps, but no problem with streaming speed. Working well for common apps like Netflix / Prime / Youtube

It works good. We only have one HDMI plug so we have keep unplugging it to plug this in to watch a movie.

I am a long-time videophile / audiophile but I’m on a limited budget. I primarily purchased this Blu-ray player for its ability to transcode DTS into Dolby Digital because that’s the only decoder I have for my HT system. Bottom Line: This documented feature does not work, period, as in Sony is selling a product advertised with a feature that is broken. In addition, the player would shut itself off randomly after ~15 minutes of play and then forget where I was in the movie (this even with the HDMI connection feature turned off). I returned the player. // That said, I had no issues with the picture quality or load times.

Second Blu-Ray player purchased for additional TV. Going on four years with the first player, same model.

I had a Sony player that failed after several years. Bought this to play Blu-ray and connect to Netflix. It Is much faster than the old player for Netflix streaming.

Unit is very compact, so if you appreciate a small footprint take a look. Otherwise this unit operates as expected.

For some reason we cannot connect the Blue Ray to our DISH remote. Technical Support was unable to also.

I haven't used this device yet. There was no cable in the box! I'm waiting for it!. I'm sure it's a good device....

This is exactly what I was looking for a blu ray player with all of the features that I needed. It plays nicely with excellent clarity even with regular dvd movies! Nice!
