Too much of a delay when you turn it off by remote. It's hard to tell if it is off. Other than that it works and the sound through a sound system is good.

I do more streaming now than playing discs, but I had a 3D TV and a bunch of movies...and my LG 3D blu ray player died. It's baffling to me that just about the only way to get a 3D blu ray player these days is to buy a 4K player that also plays 3D...while there's no such thing as a 4K 3D TV (at least that I've found). But I found this one Sony blu ray player that supported 3D and bought it. I didn't love it from the start (the menus are ugly and intrusive, the remote is tiny and feels low quality), but my biggest problem was IT COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING. I think I used it three times over the course of a few months, and then the next time I tried the tray would not open. So I'm beyond the warranty period and I have a useless plastic brick. And just like that, I will never buy another Sony product.
