It says its 4k, I'm not really sure if it was. I just purchased a 4k fire stick for same tv and I'm getting a much clearer picture now. The blu ray feels cheaply made and very light.

Player was returned with a report of nothing wrong with unit. Best Buy would not refund player with a store credit. Took player home and same problems still occur. Buy a different player. This unit is junk.
