But the software for netflix, etc is really horrible. I'm used to the software, interface on the xbox one x which is great. The software on this player is slow, and not very user friendly. You have to download an app to control the software and the app is horrendous and doesnt work at times. Not worth the low price if you're into tech. If you are someone that doesnt like high end products then it's perfect for you

Picked it up at store. I tried to register it online for warranty but the website was difficult to navigate. I made several failed attempts to contact Sony, but received no response to try to register it under warranty. On July 20, the unit was totally malfunctioning: could not turn it off, could not open the tray to put a new disk in, could not turn off the unit.

I changed the HDMI cable and I even exchanged it for another Sony thinking I got a defective one, but both Sony did not work well with tv.
