Bought this as an open box in excellent condition and it's OK it's a little noisy when it runs but other than that it seems to work good

I had a previous model that constantly choked on my ISP when I got higher speed internet. Constant stuttering and lock-ups. O.K. so it was aging. So rather than learning (I'm a slow learner), I "upgrade" to a supposedly better model that can handle faster internet. Good enough. Everything appears to work fine for DVDs and my cable ISP. However, there are still lockups that require completely resetting this brick. Also YouTube works fine for months then just suddenly stops working. Displays nothing but a big YouTurd logo... never to be useful again. Netflix occasionally locks up too. Look, if none of the non-Sony-proprietary apps are going to work as advertised... why bother??? YES. The firmware is up to date, yet nothing works. It's just an average piece of ____ with features that don't work, that should be avoided. I have a feeling that Sony is one of those companies that deliberately hamstrings anything that is not their technology and programs in obsolescence into the software. If I didn't need a DVD player, I'd have pitched this thing in the garbage months ago.

Easy to use and puts out a great picture every time I use it,!

I needed a Blu Ray player, and I saw this one. I really liked that it also had nettles and other smart capabilities, but the feature I like best is the built in Bluetooth. I'm a bit of a night owl so it's really handy. It's also true Bluetooth. Not like my Roku where you have to plug the headphones into the remote.

I spent alot of time reading reviews before i made this purchase. I am still happy with my purchase. i am also disappointed. one of my main reasons for the purchase was that it stated that it had the capability of blue tooth. i thought i could link it to my smartphone (samsung galaxy S7). Needless to say it will not link. sometimes the unit does freeze up. these two things kept me from giving it more than 3 stars. i still would recommend this item. For the price, it has great streaming capabilities via wi-fi or ethernet.

Thus far it has worked great. The set up was faurly easy and am glad to have a way to watch my favorite movies again. My only criticism is it woukd have been nice to have an HDMI cable included with the package.

It works perfectly good! It hooks up very well! But it can need some more apps and streaming services. But it plays DVD's good!

This item is small in size which is a good thing. It doesn't take up much space wherever you place it. Easy to use once you get the "hang of it!"

I have had the player for only a few months but it’s working great and seems like really good quality and value!

item box was broken I had to go and exchange it in another location.

This DVD/Blu-ray player does exactly what I need it to. I am happy with my purchase.

I have a SONY system and have been happy with everything EXCEPT the small form Blu Ray players. This unit just stopped. It shows SONY on my screen but it never goes to the home screen. I have an older model that looks just like this one that did the SAME thing. Next time ( Yes i liked this unit when it worked) I am getting a multiple year warranty since they seem to last a year. It is on a UPS so it was not power. Maybe they auto updated it and killed it.

When I saw SONY and the price point and the deliverables = SOLD. Great product.

Nice Blu-ray player have had an earlier version of this player lasted over 10 years gop this one is that good!

The player was great. I have no complaints at all.

Plugged it in and it works great. I love the ability to use a flash drive as well.

Technician picked this Blu-ray to work best with rest of install. Very pleased with his advice...

My old one still works so I have not used this one.
