It plays DVD (plus, minus and WR), Blu-ray, and CD. It will even play MPEG, WMV, and even display many picture formats through the USB port. Set up was easy. It searched and found my home Router so to stream media from internet. There are several additional features I have not used like Bluetooth and multi-room display.

Just plug it in and hook up an hdmi connection and it was ready to go. Of course it plays regular DVD disks as well. It allows for steaming although we have not done any due to our type of internet connection. I would buy this unit again if I needed another one.

Sony DVD player BDP-S6700

Sony can always be counted on for quality gear. Picture is great, and movies (our reason for purchase) look great on it. Highly recommend this unit for those that are looking to play DVD's. It probably does a lot more, but that's past my skill level.
