I should have been forewarned about the cord so I could order it when I purchased the player. Fortunately the one from my other Sony BluRay player worked.

It plays DVD (plus, minus and WR), Blu-ray, and CD. It will even play MPEG, WMV, and even display many picture formats through the USB port. Set up was easy. It searched and found my home Router so to stream media from internet. There are several additional features I have not used like Bluetooth and multi-room display.

Sony can always be counted on for quality gear. Picture is great, and movies (our reason for purchase) look great on it. Highly recommend this unit for those that are looking to play DVD's. It probably does a lot more, but that's past my skill level.

A snap to set up (used HDMI cable) and to integrate with a smart TV and sound bar via an HDMI switch (5 port for other devices). Every cd and DVD I've played have had exceptional audio and visual displays.
