So far, I have only used this Player for watching DVD's and streaming on Netflix. It is very easy to use. The only difficulty I have is when trying to Pause a movie, it sometimes go back to the very beginning, then I have to fast forward to find the spot I was in before I paused the show.

I am pleased that I bought this player. The video upscaling is great on my 4K tv. I decided on this as I have a good sized movie collection and am just not ready to begin replacing them with 4K versions. The interface is expectedly a little slow, but I did not buy it for “smart” functionality, I have a roku for that. Great bang for the buck with good upscaling to 4K.

Solid blu-ray player. I'm able to stream lots of online content as well.

I read all the reviews I could find. My hope was for an LG sound bar that was as highly rated to go with my new LG OLED. I ended up making a compromise since this Sony bar (with separate woofer) was compatible and promised value for the money. I've had it in place for five months now and feel it does well enough. Looks great. Music streamed from a James Taylor concert was splendid and clear.

This was perfect for my home entertainment system as I needed to upgrade the quality of my blue rays and dvds to 4K. I own hundreds of disk and not looking to purchase anymore with steaming at my finger tips but I didn’t want to dispose my purchased disk... this player enhances the disk to a 4K status or close enough for me!!! Love it

My wife has hearing issues and we have a large collection of older DVDs with closed captioning but not sub titles. As everything moves to high def and HDMI cables which do not support passing of Closed Captioning data to the TV to be decoded it became difficult to use the DVD's without the proper connections. This blu ray player has an internal closed captioning decoder which adds the captioning to be added to the image and sent over the HDMI cable allowing us to use our old DVDs with newer TVs that lack the component/composite correction to pass the closed captioning information.

My stepdad is currently only using this for streaming services, as his TV wasn’t supporting Netflix any longer, but he does like it. The only con has been that we’ve had to reconnect the wifi a couple of times, when we haven’t had any interruptions on other devices, but in the scheme of things, it’s not too bad.

This unit was very easy to setup and begin using. Excellent quality.

This replaced an aging LG blu ray very nice small size easy to operate

Awesome streaming device. Contains all major streaming apps such as netflix, hulu, WWE network. only problem i have with it is sometimes the blu ray player will freeze on the home menu and the only way I've seemed to get past it was restarting the system by unplugging and replugging it.

Purchased the BDP-S6700 to take the wear and tear off of my PS4 which i was using to watch movies. I am happy with this as m primary DVD / Blu Ray player. While i dont use it for the other online features like Netflix its nice to have should my chromecast ever fail. So far im liking it.
