This unit was very easy to setup and begin using. Excellent quality.

Purchased the BDP-S6700 to take the wear and tear off of my PS4 which i was using to watch movies. I am happy with this as m primary DVD / Blu Ray player. While i dont use it for the other online features like Netflix its nice to have should my chromecast ever fail. So far im liking it.

If you don't have a smart TV it doesn't matter, trough this device you can see Prime video, Netflix, YouTube etc. but if you have a smart TV you can enjoy your best DVDs Blue-ray & 4K etc. Small issue for Sony programming the code into the control remote for RCA TV, it is the RED button not TOP MENU.

Great bluray player, streams well, compact, and easy interface.

My other Sony BDP gave up the ghost a few weeks ago and I found this on sale. Easy to setup install, update and start viewing. Very good picture, sound and operation. So far, this is turning out to be a great little player.

Best Buy went above and beyond to find and deliver the Sony blue ray player on time and on budget. Blue ray player is a very good product. Exactly what I was looking for. Very high quality processing electronics for upscaling video formats. I highly recommend the S6700 Blue Ray player and Best Buy.

This replaced an aging LG blu ray very nice small size easy to operate

Awesome streaming device. Contains all major streaming apps such as netflix, hulu, WWE network. only problem i have with it is sometimes the blu ray player will freeze on the home menu and the only way I've seemed to get past it was restarting the system by unplugging and replugging it.

This little blu ray is almost perfect. Great picture. Great sound. Lots of good features. Only downside is the built in apps. The apps are VERY sluggish. Good thing I have a Roku. Definitely recommend as a blu ray. Can't recommend as streamer unless you have a lot of patience and time.

I have yet to use this as a blue ray player. When I couldn't get a firestick to consistently play Netflix I decided that I needed something that had an ethernet port. I figured after that the computer portion is actually pretty basic. Sooo… this isn't the fastest device ever. takes a minute to load up. works solidly from there. I am running this on a 1080p screen, so no idea how the upscaling works, but when it comes to something with a cat5 connection that doesn't put a voice recorder in your living room, this does the job well.

It has great picture and it is easy to navigate. Highly recommended.

I purchased the Sony BDP-S6700 as part of a home theater setup. It provides crystal clear playback and upscaling of older DVD's. This is not the most expensive player in Sony's lineup, but it does everything I need it to do. I have had some trouble getting it to connect to the Sony app, but the wifi connection in the basement theater is spotty for all of my devices.

I upgraded from an old Sony Blu-Ray player, and this was a MAJOR step up in terms of processing power for animated menus, streaming apps, and having dual band wi-fi. I haven't had any real problems with this player. Very good A/V quality via HDMI into my 5.1 Sony audio receiver and Insignia HDTV.

Very nice quality picture and sound. Easy operation

I chose this because it was the only system that would play PAL DVDs. I had to send the original unit back after 11 months (the problems have been going on since about 7 months, and don't even get me started about Sony Customer Service). The unit keeps freezing when playing Netflix or Streaming Amazon Prime. When I decide I am done streaming and want to watch a DVD the unit would turn itself off as if to say, I don't feel like playing a DVD right now, and I would have to unplug the player and reset it. (this happened more than once a week). Several of the Apps are no longer supported. You cannot open the DVD tray if you are using any of the Apps. The remote operates a variety of TVs as long as you consider power on/off, mute, and volume control as operating. It would be nice to change the channel as well. I am fairly sure this is the last Sony DVD player I will own.

4K video looked and sounded great.It was easy to install.
