100% BEST!!

I use it for all of my apps for the tv i have in my bedroom, (which isn’t a smart tv) lol. Need to update, but that will come another day!:) -helps me stream, Netflix, dvd, anything i want! Totally worth the money!

Good low cost blu-ray player

The 4K upscaling works well and does improve the image beyond what my older Sony blu-ray player provided. I wasn't sure if it would play 4K videos from the discription so I wasn't surprised that it didn't.

Movie watching is good with sony

It works great! I haven't done any streaming I haven't had time to watch a lot of movies or shows but I'm sure it will work fine for that as well !

Easy to get started with wireless & video apps

We already have a Netflix subscription and it was easy to log into our existing account through the included apps. No problems in viewing our DVDs on this player. Satisfied with our purchase.

A Great 2K Work Horse

I gave the first one away when I bought a Panasonic DP-UB820-K 4K player. That player developed playback issues outside the Best Buy return policy on some media that the Sony BDP-S6700 has no issues with. The one thing the S6700 doesn't do is play 4K UHD discs, but it up-scales 2K discs pretty well. Until the Panasonic dies, I'll use the Sony for every but the 4K discs.

If you are looking for a basic setup with a Tv and soundbar this is your player. If you are looking for a more advanced setup, I would suggest moving to a model on the higher end. Overall I love the unit and it does it job.

An Excellent Blu-ray Player
