This is a complete upgrade to the one I had. My kids enjoy using this one best since it has more apps and I'm able to download other apps for all of us to use. The movies played on this player have better clarity so We really enjoy watching movies since we bought this.

Definitely an excellent player! So many new features then old one and also has wi-fi.

Works well so far. I only bought it for the Bluetooth functionality, so that I could hear my favorite films without owning a home theater system. Looks and sounds great for that purpose.

Set up was easy and wi-fi enabled feature is great. The remote is akward and navigating online is akward. It also froze up at least once since I purchased it less than a month ago and wouldn't turn on until I unplugged it from the power source.

Good price for a 4K blu- ray player. I highly recommend a blu-ray player because blu-ray players play blu rays, dvds and cds, The price of blu-ray movies is coming down and a dvd player won't play blu-rays

Picture and Sound quality meets with good satisfaction and allows great connection to streaming.

Needed a Blu-ray/streaming device on a budget and the sales agent pointed at the Sony. WiFi built-in, Bluetooth + Blu-ray 3D AND 4K upscale when I'm ready to upgrade my TV...Perfect. Compact including the remote with a Netflix button for quick access. I couldn't be more happy.

I needed a new Blue Ray player and this fit the bill well. Plays all discs so far and has performed flawlessly. Connected to my surround system with no problem. Works as expected.

Very happy with features and performance of the DVD/Blu-ray player. Have only played old home movies DVDs in this unit. Would expect Blu-ray disks to be even better.

Installed the Blu-Ray player to my new LG - 65" 4K TV from Best Buy. The picture looks beautiful and with real life color and detail using a Blu-Ray disc. I also use this Blu-Ray player to play my CD's on my Sony Receiver. All the types of CD and DVD formats I have work on this player.

No chance yet to play with internet movies and such. Main reason to purchase was to watch movies. Disappointed that many movies play with the black bands on top and bottom. Old TV with built in DVD player had easy screen picture adjustments that would allow you to have full screen affect. I'm sure this is normal by the default of the movie we purchased .. I was just hoping to fill the screen. Had one minor bout of freezing with the DVD player. It just sat there and would not allow me to even get the disc out. I had to unplug it and plug it back in before the buttons worked again. Hope this is not a problem down the road. I remember now others complained about that problem.

Good price, easy to use but got jammed after two weeks of using. In order to work it, we unplugged everything and gave it a rest for about 20min. When we plugged that back again, it worked. Works quietly, we will see for how long .

Good price for what we were looking for. No problems so far. It is smaller than what we thought but not an issue.

Needed a replacement CD player for old unit. This one works just fine. Have MANY old DVDs that I like to watch and this does just great

I have owned it for about a month and all is going well. I was able to watch The Lord of the Rings, 4K Ultra HD with it. Together with my good quality Sony TV, the colors were fantastic.

Wanted a 4K box since I had a 4K tv. Gives a great picture. Only downside is that it does not have Hulu programmed, so so still must cast Hulu from my phone if I want to watch it.

Great Blu-Ray pla t er and streaming. This model will have Amazon Video and Vudu. On the new Sony models you won't get Amazon Video. Serial numbers starting high 4000,000 Just want everybody know

Easy to use blu ray player. Only disappointment is that Sony removed Amazon Prime from the available streaming sites. I had to buy a fire stick to access my Amazon Prime movies.

I needed a replacement for my older blu ray player. This Sony product is great; a small footprint, easy to install, and easy to operate. It also provides smart TV capabilities for my older TV. We liked it so much we bought a second for our other TV.
