This is a great BR DVD Player! The Family loves watching our DVD collection.

Works well so far. I only bought it for the Bluetooth functionality, so that I could hear my favorite films without owning a home theater system. Looks and sounds great for that purpose.

I love this thing. It is small and compact and plays in great resolution on my LG television and also on my Sony. I would highly recommend this player to anyone looking for a new one. I have always trusted Sony with their products and this one does not disappoint.

I needed a new Blue Ray player and this fit the bill well. Plays all discs so far and has performed flawlessly. Connected to my surround system with no problem. Works as expected.

Purchased the first one back in April 2018. One day back in December 2018, the unit stopped recognizing blurays. Dvd's and Cd's worked fine. I had purchased the 2 year plan and returned to Best Buy. It was sent to Sony and came back unrepairable. Best Buy credited me prorated protection plan and purchase price. I was surprised at the plan refund. I asked nicely and the geek squad manager was understanding. So far so good on the new one. If it breaks down again soon I will change my review and speak against this item. It should come with more than 1 audio output, It is a component output. Only 1 hdmi but they both work fine. Picture and sound quality are fantastic. I haven't used the network part yet, so I have no comment there.

I went in the store looking for their advertised products but this Blu-ray player ticked all of the boxes that I was looking for and was even less expensive. It was very easy to set up and has worked seamlessly with our TV. Very satisfied with the product so far.

I bought this on sale to replace an LG that stopped playing discs and so far it has been great. Picture quality is fantastic. Although I'm not using it for any streaming, I have looked to see what channels and apps can be used and there are lots. Well done Sony. So far so good.

I bought it for use with my BENQ projector, however, the output is HDMI and thought I could use a HDMI to VGA converter that does work with my Asus computer's HDMI port, but it does not work with SONY Blueray. So I cannot use it in my home theater. The SONY does work well with one of my TV's. The bluetooth feature was one of my reasons for buying the SONY since I am hard of hearing and use a bluetooth headset for audio and my wife uses standard speakers, but, the bluetooth in use turns off the normal audio which is the reason for only 4 stars. there should be an option for leaving the bluetooth on for headsets with standard speakers on.

For those that still use phisical media, this is a great player. Upcoverts very well. (Consider source resolution though) Wirelessly streams physical media to other smart tvs in the home. This feature surprised me. I knew it could play streaming services like netfix etc but watching my media from another room is a cool feature. Good price point for this player.

Works well with my Sony 4k TV , and with my Sony audio visual surround sound system it's a perfect match

Great Blu-Ray pla t er and streaming. This model will have Amazon Video and Vudu. On the new Sony models you won't get Amazon Video. Serial numbers starting high 4000,000 Just want everybody know

If you do not have a 4k ultra tv, then this bd player is exactly what you need. Very simple to join with tv or cable box, and has many programs and apps that will keep you busy for awhile. 5 stars for this one.

Easy to set up though did not have the full HULU on it. The apps appeared to not include what would be similar to a website/accessing from a game console - but overall it still was easy to utilize and with the TV and Blu-ray discs it definitely is worth the money.

I have owned it for about a month and all is going well. I was able to watch The Lord of the Rings, 4K Ultra HD with it. Together with my good quality Sony TV, the colors were fantastic.

Very happy with features and performance of the DVD/Blu-ray player. Have only played old home movies DVDs in this unit. Would expect Blu-ray disks to be even better.

Have total enjoyment for not only as a blue-ray player but for steaming.

Easy to use blu ray player. Only disappointment is that Sony removed Amazon Prime from the available streaming sites. I had to buy a fire stick to access my Amazon Prime movies.

One of the best players there is, worth every penny

Great player for the price! It really does make all DVD's and Blu-Ray's look close to 4K with the upscale. Only downside on the smart capable part, is that Hulu is no longer a supported app on it. Other then that, I have no complaints.
