Works as expected, hooked up in a out 2 hours make sure line of sight

If you’re looking for a great DVD to play 4K video or download and stream for a very reasonable price I can highly recommend this Sony. Easy to set up very small footprint and works perfectly so I highly recommend.

I have been using my Playstation 4 and as soon a I started to use this player I noticed the difference in sound quality. I have a good sound system and this device improved the sound so much that I can't believe it.

Gift. I bought my God-daughters daughter the collectors edition of the Mandalorian. This 6 year very politely informed my that their TV didn't play DVDs, rather indirectly reminding how old and out of date I am. I think I fixed that problem by getting her family a DVD player. Now I share my classics.

Everything is so vivid, i don't know why i waited so long to upgrade to 4K when most of the movies i bought are 4K.

Bought this for an older TV in my den (not a smart TV) and the quality is really nice! It also is nice to have access to my streaming apps in that room as my TV is just basic.

So the rating is as follows. The picture is beautiful and the price is great = 5 stars. It drops to 3 stars because once a week the player locks up and I have to unplug it just to get it to work again. This is the second unit I've had that does this. I sent back the first one. It now drops to a two because Sony just dropped Hulu from the applications it offers on the Blu-ray player. I will be staying away from Sony products from now on.

Bought this durinf the Christmas sale rush! It's a super-solid player with great streaming! I read that the streaming on these can be an issue, but haven't had a single blip outta this! Works great and streams great and video looks gorgeous!

works well excellent picture quality and sound. It is slow on startup and funcionallity is cluncky but overall a good unit.

Good Blue Ray Player. I was watching movies in DVD and Blue Ray Disc very clear good sound. It's not compatible with movies 3D disc.

The picture quality is Amazing whether using regular DVD'S or Blu-ray! Very impressive.

This player exceeds its price for equality and connectivity. You can spend much more and not get that much more quality auto but you're getting. Highly recommend this for anybody looking to upscale to further enhance their Blu-ray collection

I did a search on the top ten Blue ray players. this was top. Best Buy has a good price and like to shop local when I can find what I want. So far it lives up to my high expectations. Very nice for the money. Many more were far more costly.

Player works perfectly and easy to setup and operate

I bought this on sale and it has the features that I wanted. While many are moving away from these Players to Streaming services, i still like having a Blu-Ray Player on hand for my DVD's. Overall, an excellent choice for me.

I have a lot of DVD and Blu-Ray discs; don't have 4K disk, but I do have a 4K television. This device works well and picture is great!

Excellent blu ray player that can upvert for 4k tvs

In addition to providing great Blu Ray player operation, this device contains the apps needed to stream all kinds of content over an internet connection. I found its variety of apps superior to the ones that were contained on my two year old smart TV.
