Works as advertised. We have an older non-smart TV and was able to do what we wanted it to do. We're planning on getting a new TV and it'll be a cinch to connect the Blu-ray player to it.

The price was great to great. So I was skeptical but bought it anyway cause the salesman really knew the DVD players. And I got really lucky the unit gives a surprising beautiful picture to be so small and priced right. At the time I bought it.

Works well with both DVDs and Blu-Ray. Wi-Fi feature allows us to watch streaming programs on a 'dumb' TV. Some of the controls are a bit cumbersome and non-intuitive, but overall functions well.

The player is perfectly fine. I just wish I had read the description more closely -- this is NOT a 4K player -- this is a Blu-ray player that upscales the video to 4K quality. So be warned that it won't play the 4K discs.

For the money, this is a good vcr. Picture is good. Audio is good. The only downside is it is initially slow to connect to the internet and load apps.

Excellent device! This is our first Blu-ray player, and we are very impressed. The playback quality of both Blu-ray and DVD is superb. The 4k rendition through our projector is clear and crisp. The player easily connected to our home wifi. The menu is overall fairly easy to navigate. "Typing" on the remote to access web-based content can be a bit cumbersome; but that should be expected on any device that does not come with a full QWERTY-keyboard. It would have been nice if Disney+ could have been included as one of the pre-sets. The addition of device-mirroring for iPhones would also be appreciated. Overall a great device - and the price is right.

Video quality is great. Not a huge selection of apps, but the popular services are available. I prefer to use headphones when watching movies so the Bluetooth feature sets this player apart

I bought this after my previous Blu Ray player finally died..... well more like it wouldn’t further update. Functions the same, even uses the same remote, and same apps. Bonus, this one has WiFi.

Great way to offer smart tv services to a rgular tv. Easy to setup wifi and easy to use. Was a little disappointed that the wifi did not have option to connect to a non broadcast ssid. Minor detail, but also seems pretty easy to offer in a product.

So far, this has been a great blu-ray player. I've had bad luck with blu-ray players in recent years dying after only a year or so, and often without extensive usage. So far this has held up pretty well. The picture quality is fantastic.

I thought this was going to be a bigger DVD player but i still love it. It shows a great picture and i can watch all my favorite movies on it too which is a great bonus.

Needed a compact 4K player for a bedroom and I always liked Sony disc players. Mechanism works reliably, Video quality is very good and no HDMI interface issues with my TV.

I have several of these all hooked to my home network. They work great as both a streaming box and a Blu-Ray player. They boot fairly quickly and the menus are much more responsive than some other brands that I've owned.

Very compact. Has VUDU, NetFlix buttons on remote. Only thing I don't like is that light on external drive stays on when unit turned off. Can U say, "night lite?" It doesn't on my Toshiba player.
