I had another Sony model and it died after an update. I almost didn't give Sony another try but they have always been a great product so I did and I couldn't be happier. All the apps I could want and the upscaling is beautiful.

Works great and plays Bluray and DVD's perfectly - and supports being wired into the router for the internet features.

My sole purpose for this player is to play workout dvds in the home gym I’ve set up. Since I have the 4K TV, I figured I’d get the upscaling player. I don’t have any complaints. Nice quality.

Just like they say, Netflix opens very fast on this player. The picture when playing disks on this player are clear and bright. The sound is fantastic too.

We just purchased new Sony 4K HDR TV's & needed to upgrade our current BluRay player to benefit from the upscaling to 4k. Very compact player but sometimes need to adjust settings based on the movie disc for it to play properly

This unit does everything we hoped it would do! It was the unit recommended by the Best Buy clerk for use with our Sony Bravia TV, which is maybe 10 years old.

Works great. Not too expensive and easy to setup and use. I would recommend if you are looking for a simple plug and play. Picture quality is great.

The DVD player is easy to set up and use. The controller works a lot faster than the one for my previous DVD player. The software brings up all the available aps when you turn it on, which is really nice.

I really like the size of this item. It does so much for such a small device. Not only that, for the first time ever, I am able to caption Amazon shows and movies. The menu is easy and easy to setup and run.

This Blu-ray Player is great value for the money. We got it to go with our new Sony sound bar and they work easily with each other. It picture looks great!

This is the first SONY DVD player I have owned. I am very satisfied with its performance and ease of play.

Works perfect accept you need remote to operate at all! Which is kind of a bummer!

This was a Christmas gift for my son in law and he loved it! He said we are so generous! It looks like a very pricey player but we got it for a deal thanks to Bst Buy!

Bought this Sony in March. It died in October. Geek Squd sent it out under the warranty and it took a month to get it repaired and returned. In the interim I got tired of waiting and bought a new Denon. I will probably put the Sony unit in my family room with the seldom used TV to replace an older home theater unit that's there currently. Beyond that, the Sony has decent sound and isn't difficult to set up.

I have old DVDs. On my prior DVD (that was ancient) even hooked up to a 4K tv the quality of the picture was not as good as it is with DVD. The recent movies are fantastic.
