I have old DVDs. On my prior DVD (that was ancient) even hooked up to a 4K tv the quality of the picture was not as good as it is with DVD. The recent movies are fantastic.

Very nice DVD player for the money, has streaming applications just wish I could add more applications form the internet to the player.

The DVD player is easy to set up and use. The controller works a lot faster than the one for my previous DVD player. The software brings up all the available aps when you turn it on, which is really nice.

We just purchased new Sony 4K HDR TV's & needed to upgrade our current BluRay player to benefit from the upscaling to 4k. Very compact player but sometimes need to adjust settings based on the movie disc for it to play properly

Given the Covid-19 Pandemic, haven't been able to buy any Blue-Ray DVD's to flex its full capabilities....but it does a great job upgrading my old DVDs to play on my 4K TV.

Works great. I love the size as it doesn't take up much room. Enjoying playing some of our older DVDs. Integrated seamlessly with my Samsung TV and Amazon Fire TV.

The Sony-BDP-S6700 Blu-Ray player works great and is very easy to install and set up

We were on vacation and needed to buy a DVD to watch a movie. The store inside was still closed so we took a chance and ordered this one to pick up curbside! Glad we did!

Bought this Sony in March. It died in October. Geek Squd sent it out under the warranty and it took a month to get it repaired and returned. In the interim I got tired of waiting and bought a new Denon. I will probably put the Sony unit in my family room with the seldom used TV to replace an older home theater unit that's there currently. Beyond that, the Sony has decent sound and isn't difficult to set up.

This is my second Sony Blu-ray player and is everything that I expected. As a senior citizen and somewhat technically challenged, I found the hook up and menu extremely easy. Will go this route again

Nice high quality Blu-ray player, easy to hook up. No issues. Small size doesn't take up much space. Would purchase again.

For the price, it’s good and has some nice features. I mean, Sony invented BluRay right? They should be pretty good at it. If you need a BluRay Player, this’ll do just fine.

This blu Ray player is very good for the price. Upscale quality is noticeable . Current tech may be technically better but I don’t notice as I am not a tech videophile. Works great for home theater too.

This is not a 4K player!!!! I don’t own a 4K Tv; however this machine utilizes my TV to its most 1080p potential. My Old DVD’s look great! My Blu-rays look great! Heck, even the streaming quality was up scaled! I recommend if you don’t own a 4K TV and don’t plan on getting one anytime soon! Good upscaler!

Needed a blue ray player while we were waiting for cable and internet to be installed. Watching lots of movies and enjoying it. Did not spend a ton of money so it has been worth it.

For DVD lovers, this is a great value & works wonderful. Highly recommend, This is our 2nd Sony Blu-ray player. The original one is still working after almost a decade!
