I have a ton of dvds & my old dvd player didn't do them justice. This player makes them look better & plays blu-ray discs. Very happy with this Sony model.

Great stick easy to use great picture and sound quality

Really not much else to say. It works great. Super cheap too. I don't need all the bells and whistles and just wanted a system that would upscale to near 4K quality and this one does.

When i bought my tv I also purchased a new dvd player, the first dvd player didn't play the UHD dvd set i purchased, so i took the dvd back and new set still the same problem, came to the conclusion after reading the online review it was not compatible with tv, I went back to Best Buy and asked the salesman if he could bring it up on the internet, he said no (other times other sales rep could) and bout this Dvd player. This was compatible and works like a charm. If buying a DVD player read the review first, save some time.

Great price for a 4K upscaling Blueray player. Works great and starts up quick. Works awesome with my Sony TV

The sound is good. The picture looks awesome especially on my Sony Bravia tv. Don’t really stream from the online services being that my tv is smart and using Apple TV. But I guess it’s nice to have

While certainly not expensive, it does allow us to play avi formatted movies and gives a better quality picture compared to our previous dvd player which was also a Sony.

I bought this earlier and just got to use it recently. Don't have internet so haven't gotten to use all the features. Was very impressed with it.

This unit seems to connect with my wi-fi faster and has not lost the connection that the previous Samsung continually did. Have not used the disc player yet.

Simple blue ray player but works good. Don't use that much so it's fine

First one I purchased I gave to my nephew since he needed a 4k upscale. I bought another one since I missed not having one. Love that has a light that tells you when it is on

I got this for a friend who has just had a DVD player...and she is loving the clearer picture and better sound...make sure to have the HDMI cable!

If you dont need 4k, this is for you. I do not have a 4k set, but an excellent HD set. If you just need HD this box is amazing. Also, great streaming features including Netflix.

The DVD player would have worked great, if we had a newer TV, but we did not know that newer DVDs (Blue Rays and HDMI cords) did not communicate well with our TV. We had to return two different DVD players before we chatted with a customer service person who helped us problem solve what the issue was. They also helped us remove a DVD that was stuck in the DVD player and were kind, helpful and courteous through out the whole process. Would shop there again. We have to purchase a DVD player elsewhere due to the fact they did not have older models of DVDs compatible with our older TV.

Sony quality, coupled with its simple, easy to use features, make our new Blu-ray player a great “Best Buy!”

Great item with the perfect price. I have used it many times over the past few years (4), with absolutely no problems. I also have a blue-ray 4K UHD one I got here at best buy 3 years ago, and I have never had any issues. I highly recommend both of them.
