This isn't the best thing on the market but it's the best thing at a comparable price point. You get what you pay for and sometimes you get a good deal. This is a good deal. The player is good and the 4K upscale is a nice little bonus. THIS IS NOT A NATIVE 4K. The only reason that I am leaving 4 stars is it's a little slow to start up, and occasionally (twice in over a year of ownership) will stall out while loading a YouTube video, and then behaves fine after the machine is restarted. After a year I bought another for my dad.

this device was quite easy to install. It does a great job of displaying Blu-ray movies.

remote is easy to operate, onscreen navigation is a breeze. Fast loading too! I tried 3 other, cheaper brands, and came back to SONY. You do get what you pay for!

Surprisingly good picture quality for a $100.00 DVD player.

We've had this player for about 6 weeks. We like how fast it was to set up and how easy it is to use. If you need a dvd player, this one is for you!

This Blu-ray player works great. The 4k upscaling technology looks good. Was a good value compared to 4k players. This does not play 4k Blu-ray discs.

Bought this player to replace the previous Sony model. I am very happy with everything about the player. I would definitely buy it again.

works great but the wifi features are quite slow especially compared to my tv sitting in the same room.

I had the model below this one which didn’t upscale to 4K and the lag was atrocious. I assume the power is a bit higher in the one for the ups along and it shows.

I needed to replace an old blue ray dvd from Sony/Google. This serotonin be the best replacement and so far it has worked very well.

Purchased the Sony BDP-S6700 based on many reviews . . . CNET, Crutchfield, and avsforum. For the cost, this unit performs very well, and replaced three separate components in my system.

Blu ray Player working great. This is not main player in the house. Ease to use was the prior in the purchase.

While the picture rendered from DVD's is excellent, can't connect to wi-fi. Perhaps I will need a signal booster. But really don't need this feature.

This is the best DVR-Bluray player I have found. I purchased this player, (earlier models, twice before from a different suppplier), and was happy at first, then extremely disappointed when they failed after a couple months. Perhaps Best Buy just handles authentic products that are higher quality. This new model seems to be working GREAT. The YOU-TUBE app even works...it didn't on the others....I thought it was my older TV that caused the problem. The 4 yr warranty is another great plus!

I go this player for 3D movies, it's very nice size not to big for a small entertainment kids room. it has nice apps options like netflex and Hulu streaming.

Very happy with this compact player. Works great and am able to place it on my fireplace mantle under TV. Hangs over edge about 2.5 inches but stays put.

No issues so far with the blue ray player. We have only used it a few times and we have not had any problems with it. Love that it’s compact and not out in the open.
