When my Samsung app store and LCD (yes, LCD-not LED) stopped updating and working with it's own app- I knew I needed blu-ray player. This is my first blu-ray and I agree Now I know what I was really missing. The app via blu-ray and the picture quality is a superb. The only 2 reasons I gave it 4 star and not 5 is because 1. It's USB should be working with many video formats per the manual but when I attached my few USB stick it didn't recognize them and the others it played well- I don't know why- I made sure the files were same formates, USB 2 mostly- not sure 2. It keeps dropping my internet wifi connections- I learnt that if I use WPS then the connection last for many days. I even put my wifi extender in my room but still it would occur. Overall I love it

Works great! It was so easy to set up. I just had to plug it in. With the camera I replaced, I had to download stuff. I think it was a really good value for what I paid for it.

It really works great. Easy to hook to tv, set up to my Wi-Fi router was easy to do. I am very happy with this product! It does what it is supposed to do, no problems at all!!

This is our first blu- ray player. We are very happy with it. Works great and delivers the picture quality that we were hoping for. Very easy to use. The price was excellent

I found the wireless WiFi extremely easy to set up (accomplished with first try). Data loading is fast and the streaming provides an excellent picture. Meets all of my needs.

I upgraded from an old Blu-ray to this one, which added the streaming functionality. Love being able to use all the apps directly through the player, including Amazon Prime.

I bought this to replace a Samsung BD-J5700. Where the Samsung failed the Sony excelled in all areas. It connected directly to my wifi, did its updates and proceeded to work flawlessly. Since this is not an always on device you just have to remember to give it 30 seconds or so to connect to your wifi. The picture quality has been outstanding and the app selection you get has quite a few choices so you should be able to find something for nearly everyone. Buy this blu-ray player. If you're considering this and another player that's a little less expensive drop the extra cash on this player and you won't be disappointed.

The player takes up minimal space on the TV stand. The player comes installed with many weblinks to popular online content sites, and the remote makes it very easy to navigate. Excellent value for the features.

I purchased for wifi capabilities.. it works fine dvd player i had broke. So if needed have both dvd and blueray.. but streaming YouTube and amazon prime movies works fine

This was a gift and thankfully it included set up and connections. It it fairly easy to use and works as expected to play blu-ray videos. Its compact size is also a plus.

I bought this blu-ray player because my TV doesn't have Wi-Fi built in to my TV. This Sony Blu-Ray player is an excellent option to be able to stream movies from Netflix.

I got this blue ray player on sale, normally 80.00, on sale for 55.00. For the money it's a good purchase, have had it only for a few weeks, but has not given me any problems so far, easy to set up as well.

Needed to get a second blue-ray player for my other room, and saw this one and it was priced right. I like the picture quality, and how compact it is. Great investment.

I think I paid $52 and it shipped for free. It is my first bluray so I have nothing to compare it to. Has a lot of features. We use it mostly for Amazon Video. Love it.

I bought this to primarily use for Netflix. I had purchased a Samsung and found out very quickly that it and I were not going to get along so returned it and bought this. Overall I found it much simpler to navigate. The only drawback is the choice of apps available. While it has quite a few it is missing some that I would have liked such as the basic networks ie. CBS NBC and ABC. Honestly though I have lived in Engalnd the last 17 years and am used to the steaming devices there which all carry the major Channel apps to allow viewing. Not sure if any actually do this in the USA.

Fast and easy set-up; compact size. The remote and manual controls are easy to understand and SIMPLE to operate. After I purchased for myself, I got another as a gift.

Mom and dad loved this blu-ray player with wifi connection. They said setting it up was a breeze and it is working great.

Easy set-up even for a techno-novice! Clear instructions and drawings. Quick access to Netflix, which is why we bought it. Haven't tried the disc playing function yet.

This a really good wifi bluray player. Has alot of apps that you can use to watch movies and shows. Would have been 5 stars if it had the watch ESPN app

This blu-ray player is extremely easy to set up and very easy to use. The remote control that goes with it it quite simple with not too many buttons. Reasonibly priced.
