Netflix and YouTube are faster on this one than my 3 year old Samsung TV, and its great that once the apps are launched, most navigation buttons and play/pause etc on my Samsung TV remote works on this Sony device, probably because they follow some standard.

This one is almost the same price as my DVD player paid years ago. Very good streaming. I am using it much more than my DVD player. Has almost replaced television.

Although this was a bit over my budget, it was worth the money. There are so many other features than Netflix. I can connect to my tablet and play movies, I can access the internet and youtube. I thought this was a great buy that I gifted my daughter one. She loves it!

In fact it never work properly or consistently. So, since my TV is a Sony and my sound system is Sony I decided to try Sony. The installation was easy and setup was almost automatic. It found my Wi-Fi network quickly and was ready to play in just a few minutes.

Simple installation ... new remote to learn

We have been watching tv after "cutting tv cable" (still have internet service). Biggest challenge is learning another new remote procedure. But overall, this was a good decision.

The picture quality was excellent and transformed the picture quality of her TV. I have another manufacturer and am considering purchasing one for myself. For the price (was on sale by Best Buy) it was a real bargain. Best Buy never ceases to amaze me with their specials.

Just what I expected

However, so far so good. It has all the Apps I need for watching streaming video and it plays disks with no issues. I also like how small and lightweight it is - nothing like the old DVD players. I would recommend purchasing this player to anyone.
