We decided to make the purchase when shopping. We had purchased another player that was not Wi-Fi capable and want the same without all the cords. This is a great addition to the family room. It has great features and easy set up and great sound. Great purchase

I have previously only had wired Blu-Ray players, this was my first wireless one. Simple hookup, just connect HDMI cable, plug in the power cord and the rest happened by itself. The Sony players I have had, have been great, and this new one was all I expected.

My husband bought this so he could do screen mirroring from his tablet. Works great. Found out I can mirror from my phone, handy. My daughter tried it from upstairs, it worked as long as someone was there to set it up. Oh, it plays dvds and blu-Ray too. We don't have dsl/cable so don't know about streaming.

Set up was easy and product works as described. We were not interested in too many features, just a pretty basic product that can access wifi.This is one of numerous Sony products in our household and many are years old and still operate like a new purchase.

I bought this a couple of months ago because I did not want cable TV anymore. This works great and has all sorts of apps thru the device and has Opera App that has hundreds more. DVD player works great. I use it everyday for workouts works perfect everytime.

This machine is a perfectly capable Blu-ray player. Picture and sound quality are very good. The attraction for the device is the smart, internet capability. Unfortunately, Sony's user interface is clunky and provides only limited apps to stream online content. Not a replacement for a Roku or Apple TV.

Overall a very good product. I don't know if anyone else has had the same problem that I have had with Sony Disk players? Picture quality and sound excellent but with my old Sony DVD player and this new Bluray player the sound drops out periodically for a few seconds. Other than that I really like it.

We have had Sony media players in the past, so we trust the brand. This one didn't disappoint. Excellent video, decent load speed, good Wi-Fi connectivity, all the apps we needed. Plus its small footprint was great for the space where it needed to go.

The device is super easy to set up, just plug it, input the wifi pass, and start enjoying all its features. Sometimes when you turn it on asks to input the pass again but if you try again in a couple of seconds it goes connected without further problem.

Bought this for my Mom for Christmas. She already has in like it in her den but needed one for the living room. She wanted the same one since she said the other one was easy to operate for her. She likes the fact it has a Netflix button on the remote.

This unit does not seem to have the feature from my prior Sony DVD player that allowed me to stop a movie, turn the unit off, and then automatically resume the movie when turned on later. Otherwise, everything is exceptional and I am well satisfied, particularly considering the low price I paid.

I bought this to go with my Sony LED tv. It works great and easy to use. Since both products are Sony, when the DVDs player is turned on the tv automatically changes inputs to the DVDs player.

It has all the features you would want from an online BluRay player with out going all out with 4k and other features not quite needed yet. Worked with no issues. Would be nice if I could eject disc while in another app like you tube or netflix.

This is a definite improvement over my last blue ray player. It has a good selection of apps installed which eliminated the need for another streaming player. It is also nice and small so it doesn't take up much space on my entertainment shelf.

When we bought our new TV, we knew we would need a DVD player to hook up to it, so my husband ran to the back of the store while I waited to check out and picked this one up....let's just say he picked a good one! We love this Blu Ray/DVD player!

I wanted a new blu-ray player that streamed Netflix, because the last one I had (Samsung) sucked at doing that. I read a lot of reviews and this one seemed like the best. So far, this player has worked perfectly since I bought it and no complaints.

Best Buy just threw this in for free!!! Love it! And setting it up and understanding the ins n outs, and the shortcuts with the remotes will real easy to pick up on, and now my only NON SMART TV left in the house of the 8 I own, IS NOW SMART!!!!

I love the Sony bluray player. It has Wifi and has alot of apps. Since I am a regular using Netflix this blueray player suits my needs. I got this Sony player to go with my new LG Smart UHD TV I got for Christmas. Netflix has many UHD programs.

paired easily to our old tv (circa 2011 technology). It's small. it would be nice to not have to have yet another remote. It would also be nice if this product had itunes stream app.

Love that it comes with WiFi - Streaming apps are plentiful, including Netflix. Syncs well with Sony LED Smart 4K Ultra HD TV remote - You'll need to update the software, then your good to go. Easy setup. A great value and a great product. If you are looking for a new BlueRay DVD player
