Thank you for the review and we are very sorry to hear your soundbar did not live up to your expectations. The sound quality will depend in the source that you're playing. Try to turn off the Night Mode setting and check if the issue resolved. If it does not work, check this article to proceed with the next troubleshooting.

Please make sure your Wi-Fi network is stable and that the soundbar is within range of your router, you can also try restarting your router and the soundbar. Uninstall the Sony | BRAVIA Connect app from your phone or tablet and then reinstall it—this can sometimes clear up any bugs or corrupted data—and ensure your soundbar has the latest firmware installed.
