To enhance your music audio, we recommend using the Sony | BRAVIA Connect app to adjust two specific settings. First, ensure that [Sound Field] is turned on; this feature utilizes the bar's advanced processing to provide a more immersive surround sound effect with a greater sense of presence. Additionally, you can enable [DSEE Ultimate], which uses AI technology to accurately upscale compressed music files for a higher-fidelity listening experience.

Regarding the Wi-Fi connectivity, drops often occur due to signal interference or distance. For the most stable connection, we recommend placing the soundbar within 25 feet of your router. It is also helpful to keep other wireless electronics, such as cordless phones or additional Bluetooth devices, away from the soundbar to prevent signal disruption.

Lastly, we appreciate your feedback regarding the remote control. Because this unit offers a vast array of advanced settings and features, we designed the Sony | BRAVIA Connect app to be the most convenient and comprehensive way to manage the system. This allows for a much deeper level of customization than a traditional remote could provide.

We are sorry to hear that the HTA8000 soundbar has not delivered the immersive audio quality you were looking for. It is understandable how disappointing it is to feel that the audio depth and stereo separation are lacking, especially when you have a high-quality display like the Bravia 8 II.

While the integration makes setup seamless, we realize that the sound performance itself is what truly matters. To improve the spatial imaging and low-end impact, adding the optional rear speakers and a subwoofer is often the best path, but we recognize that the standalone bar should still provide a robust upgrade over built-in speakers.
