    I think the sound bar is pretty great, but when I got home and finished setting up the soundbar, I realized that the sound bar did not do a great job of handling bass and voices at the same time. When at the store I asked the sales associate if they think I would need the optional bass speaker, and they said no. After reading more reviews online, I went back to Best Buy the next day to purchase the SA-SW3 bass speaker and then recalibrated the system. Now with the bass speaker added, the soundbar sounds way better and you can even feel the bass even when it is set to a low level. I must say, I did not think that I would have issue with voices since I am using a Bravia TV with acoustic center syn.

    Sounds amazing I have it paired with my 65” Sony Bravia 8, and rear speakers and subwoofer so I can get the 360 spatial sound system highly recommend it

    On its own, it's not that amazing, BUT when you add the sub and rears, it's a fantastic experience! Would be five stars if it could hold its own as just a sound bar

    Bravia 9 soundbar is excellent. Paired with subwoofer and back speakers sounds like you are in a theater with action packed movies. Great for musical and sports too!

    Paired it with my Bravia 8. Sounded better than the stock speakers but there was not enough difference to warrant spending $1,000, so i returned it. The Briava 8 has pretry good speakers to begin with so if you have that TV or the 9, probably not worth it.

    Pricey but worth it if you are going for a full home set up. The bar 8 would be a close runner up in my opinion but if you get it for a good sale definitely consider getting this system.
