The soundbar was bad it kept disconnecting from the tv every five minutes. I have to turn it off and and on again in order for it to work. Also the sound quality was not great either considering the price there are many options with way better sound at this price.

• Please make sure that the soundbar is properly connected to the TV using a high-speed HDMI cable via the HDMI-ARC port. Sometimes, using a different HDMI cable can resolve connectivity issues.
• Please make sure that both your TV and soundbar have the latest firmware updates installed. Firmware updates can often resolve connectivity and performance issues.
• Please make that there are no other devices nearby that could be causing interference with the soundbar's connection to the TV.

It is typically easy to set-up, but in some cases the integration with a cable box can be complicated.

Very clear and crisp

The salesman suggested this first and I absolutely love it. It does exactly what I want: it is very clear, no distortion, no overwhelming bass and easy to use with the app. It’s the first set up my wife has ever approved.

Needs a display

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There are new features, but the lack of a display is a big drawback because there's no way to know which features are enabled without referring to the app. It shuts down if you pause for very long - then the (Sony) TV's remote becomes inoperative until you use the soundbar's remote. It requires a lot of juggling of phone and two remotes that conflict. The equalizer function that existed with the previous HTA5000 is gone, so I'm not able to match my room. The sound is clean but lacks bass compared to the HTA5000 I replaced. The app gives better sound adjustment, almost as good as Audessey, and it works well with the Bravia Cam for time-alignment. I was hoping for more.

Thanks for your feedback about the Bravia sound bars. We're sorry to hear the sound keeps cutting out, even after switching to the Bravia 9. That kind of interruption definitely isn’t what we want for your setup.
Here are a few quick things you can try: Make sure all the cables are connected tightly; sometimes even a small looseness can mess with the sound. If you’re using Bluetooth or another wireless connection, keep other electronics away from the sound bar to reduce interference. Restarting both your TV and sound bar can also refresh the connection and fix minor hiccups.
It’s worth checking for any software updates for both your TV and sound bar.

Amazing but app could use some work
