    This system sounds really nice for a bar. Have it hooked to a G5. After purchase I noticed some sound settings were not available unless used with the Sony Television.

    Purchased along with a new Sony 85" Bravia 7, and the sound quality is noticeable. Easy controls and remote. I stream via DirecTV and it was linked to my remote very easily, but I occasionally use the SONY remote to enhance the sound. Voices come across much clearer than with the Sound Bar that the Theater 8 replaced

    I got a great deal it was $599 for an excellent classed open box. I like the sound but I want to get a subwoofer and rear speakers. It didn’t come with a remote though which is fine if you have a Sony tv.

    The soundbar is attractive, well made, and easy to install, but the sound quality isn't any better than soundbars half the price. In order to get good quality sound, you'll need to buy the subwoffer, which is another $500. So, $1500 is far to much money for what you get.
