It takes a while to come on and this becomes a real issue when one is in a hurry to set up for a quick recording session, or when one does intermittent recording. Another problem with this product has to do with navigating between operations. It is cumbersome and annoying.

It is possible to search and stop at an specific point of the recording by using the fast forward/backward keys, basically you press and hold until you find the place you want to stop to and then release the keys.
