He wanted it for work as he also uses his phone. It is fair. The voice is alittle muffled and it’s alittle awkward to use. Overall it serves the purpose.

I need to know with certainty if I'm recording or not. Using the same button to toggle between "record" and "pause" can be maddening. It's possible to be recording when you think it's paused -- and be paused when you think it's recording. There's no choice but to constantly, visually check. This wasn't necessary with my old recorder. My fingers always knew what was up. Unfortunately many voice recorders have this same flaw. One button shouldn't do two opposite functions. I ended up buying a different brand.
