I've used it for a few months now and it's a decent recorder for the price, but it's not without its limitations; exporting and recharging being the two two. You should read the FAQ at a minimum before deciding on purchasing this unit. My biggest complaint, and why I wouldn't recommend it, is the deceptive battery life indicator. I've started out with a new set of batteries before a two hour lecture only to see the battery life decrease to a single bar. The next day when I was to review the previous nights lectures, the battery indicator was now at three bars. I've seen this pattern of up and down for awhile now. I'm always a bit nervous if the battery will last for the entire class. So far it always has, but I still find myself frequently looking at the indicator. I may start looking for something with better battery life and can export audio files.

Good basic recorder

I was disappointed to find that I could not fast forward through long recordings so I had to split the voice track into pieces to stop at different points while transcribing the recording. This is a good recorder if you just want to record voice and do not need any more advanced features.
