Inside, outside, just sitting still, moving.. I have checked everything. No idea why? this is so bad. In my opinion this camera is a waste of money.

Posted .Hi perkins, thanks for letting us know about your concern. Based on the specifications of the DSCW800, you can enlarge the image when shooting. We recommend using the ZOOM feature on the camera to enlarge images up to 5× ( OPTICAL ZOOM ). If you still need to get closer to your subject, you can use either smart or precision digital zoom. It doesn't zoom in like my previous camera. I am better off with binoculars to see up close, very disappointing. The outside of the camera was rough and unfinished. When I tried to charge it, the camera's charging light would not come on and the camera would not charge. I may have gotten a lemon, but I would not recommend it to anyone. Returned it immediately. I expected better quality from a Sony product.

It seems to have a really hard time recognizing any of the memory cards that I already own. It constantly asks me to take it out and put it back in, and then repeat. Really annoying. I don't want to purchase a new memory card when I have several that work already. I will more than likely return this.
