A: Yes it has an auto focus feature. You can probably set it to Center AF(Auto Focus), wherein it focuses on a subject in the center of the finder frame automatically. You can also probably utilize close-up shott function or Macro.

A: Yes it does. It is a function that can be turned on or off. The strobe flashes two or more times before it shoots. The online help guide and instructions are very helpful for almost every question. It is a lot more info than what is on the piece of paper that comes in the box.
