We had the HX300 and loved it. Upgraded to the 400 and love it more. Awesome options, great pictures and zoom. Easy to use.

I bought this because I was going to a concert in Jersey and although phone cameras are good now, it's not the same. WOW! My crappy test shots are even worth keeping. The zoom, the intuitive focus, the fact that it's a point and shoot and DSLR rolled into one, pretty much everything is amazing. This camera is a keeper until zombies rise or I drop it. Thanks!!!

Exactly what I was looking for. Does an amazing job taking action shots and capturing the little fine details. This is a great camera for anyone.

Love the quality of the pictures and the zoom. The only thing that irritates me is that it hesitates between photos. It most likely is user error. I plan to go online and watch some tutorials in order to take better photos.

This camera has taken beautiful pictures. I was not getting the quality I wanted from my little point and shoot camera. This one has just enough bells and whistles to not be overwhelming, yet enough for me to adjust the settings on my own and take great pics. I took the free class offered by Best Buy and that really helped me learn about the camera. So far, no complaints!

Awesome camera, especially for point and shoot. I bought this as an extra camera for family gatherings or other events that I just want to point and shoot, yet still have a high quality, DSLR kind of picture. This camera is it! Very high quality and very easy to use.

The camera comes with everything you need, from long-range zoom to a built-in Wi-Fi, and is very user friendly.

I gave this produce a 4 star out of 5 only because I had to buy a lanyard to attach the lens cap to the camera strap. Sony should have included the lanyard with the purchase of the camera.

For a point and shoot this camera does it all. I bought it specifically for football action shots at nigh and it work great.

This is a very good camera for travel or video blogs. Very good zoom and clean picture quality with motion stabilization.

For an all-in-one, I wasn't really expecting much. However I was really surprised by this camera. The zoom is crazy long, the battery last for a long time and the video quality was vet clear. I bought this camera specifically for Coachella 2016 and wasn't really planning to keep it. However, I was so impressed that I decided to hold onto it.

Have a 35 mm digital camera with a 75-400 lenses that I love but it is too heavy and bulky on vacation. Bought this for travel. Takes great pictures and only weighs a pound! Can do close ups and zooms more than my 400 lense. Love it!, Only thing I’m not thrilled with is battery life. Will need extra batteries.

This Sony camera is a great compromise for carrying a dslr around all day whether you're going to the amusement park or a simple hike thru the woods. The pictures are sharp and the zoom range is wonderful. This is my 2nd Sony Hx-400 as i have used this for travel landscapes as well as bird photos around the jersey shore and north towards maine. the 20.4 megapixels gives a clear, very sharp result. I really enjoy shooting in auto or scene modes which allows me to concentrate on composition of my photos. The night photography is absolutely spectacular and I have been experimenting in the manual mode for creative night-time exposures. The camera body has a nice lightweight feel and just a terrific all around alternative to a dslr. It's really a great camera for a fair price. Make sure you buy a 55mm uv or skylight filter to protect your lens and go have some fun.

Upgraded from an older Nikon. Tried a couple others and the picture quality just wasn't there. Picked up with Sony and what a difference. Picture quality is terrific. Easy to use and handle. While not the mega zoom, it works just as good. Even works with my old Eye-Fi wireless SD card for automatic transfers to my PC.

Easy to use. Many special features and connectivity options. Above average picture quality.

I bought this camera for my grandson as a gift. He has taken some great pictures with it. He and I are impressed.

Granted this camera would be deemed on the rather bulky side, but it is one GREAT camera. We tried a slimmer DX-100 for two years until we went back to this great one!!!! We had the older version prior to the DX-100 one, and it still outperformed the DX-100!!!

If you're looking for the best point and shoot camera, this is the one. Quality of picture is great (it helps that it has a Carl Zeiss lens). Video quality is superior, sound is great too. The zoom is the simply amazing for this type of camera. My best point and shoot so far. Only con is the size, a little bulky so it's hard to take it to places like some concert venues (they limit the size of the cameras you can take in).

This camera is perfect for what I need it for! The zoom is really great! And the picture quality is amazing!
