Q: Will it print date and time on picture?

A: Yes and it has a sensor that switches from lcd to viewfinder when you put your eye up to the viewfinder. No need of a button to push. Viewfinder and lcd are close to 1 millon dots giving you a beautiful way to frame your shot
Q: Can a hood and/or polarized and/or filter lenses be bought as accessories for this camera

A: Hi Lori Anne, for group shots, you can set the camera to its widest angle by pressing the Zoom lever to W. You can also use the Sweep Panorama mode. Thanks_Mitch
