this controller is nice to have if you have friend or family over but its a little expensive for a controller and its a little heavier than the old one. it doesn't matter to me, but some of my friends don't like really like the extra weight. the only reason i would recommend it is because its the best feeling controller and the other ones are hard to get use too.

It's everything I'd want. It's comfortable, the buttons are durable, and it's rechargable.

love wireless remote. plus, dual shock control. wouldn't go back to wire remote ever.

This is a great controller. One thing I don't like is that unlike the Xbox 360 controller, this controller is really small and doesn't fit in your hand the way you would want it to. The best part about it besides the dualshock, is that the vibrating things inside keep the controller together better and it is a lot harder to break than the original Sixaxis controller (which broke when i dropped it like 4 feet on a wood floor). WARNING, do not take apart the controller. I got my controller wet and i took it apart in an attempt to dry it and it is nearly impossible to put back together without something falling apart. For me, a piece fell off of each trigger and made the tiny spring thing disappear on my carpet so it was ruined and all four of the vibrating thing's wires slipped right out of where it was soldered without me pulling on it. Also, there are random little pieces that fall out of the controller and you don't know where they go or what they are. So its a good controller but DO NOT TAKE IT APART if you don't want to have to buy a new one.

I always think the controllers are a little pricey, but it seems to be a constant for all gaming platforms. I love the PS3 and the controller. I had the SIXAXIS controllers before and didn't really notice the vibration missing, however I do really enjoy that fact that this one does have the vibrate function. It makes the game slightly more realistic. Additionally, it doesn't seem to drain the battery faster than a regular controller which is nice.

Sony's controller has had almost the exact same flawless design for three console generations. It has become even better now that it's wireless. The SIXAXIS doesn't really seem to be very useful right now but maybe games in the future will take advantage of it.

When the controller begins to shake, that just makes the experience so much better. The vibration function is impressive, a little more advanced than Dualshock2 for PS2. The price is a tad dissapointing though. Compared to the SIXAXIS alone, this costs more and only contains half of the battery life because it uses more juice. But, the price is worth it. How many PS3 games actually utilize the SIXAXIS feature? Oh well, now you can vibrate while you use the feature. I'd say its well worth the money. Its more durable than the regular controller and it just seems more fun to use. Any gaming experienced is greatly enhanced using this item. Get it, it's worth it.

I really love this controller! i just bought my ps3, and coming from the ps2, this controller feels nicer somehow (maybe it's in my head?) but the MAIN thing, is that there is no wire! so nice! especially when i have 2 dogs and 2 cats.

This is a great controller. much improvement on the PS3 with sixaxis and rumble you can't go wrong with this controller for games or even the blu ray feature. the dual sticks are looser but stiff good feel. the R buttons seem more ergonomic on the hands for triggering and combo moves. of course the blue tooth feature rocks you can finally play without a cord THANK YOU!!!!! the charge time is not bad and length of use with full charge is really good! hands down best controller out on the market and for your PS3 pretty spendy and not enough colors or see thru controller to give variety but that is just being picky bottom line for price....sixaxis + bluetooth technology + rumble= fun over and over!!!! A MUST BUY!! and by the way you will NEED TWO!!!!

This controller is perfect for my hands and has all the great features that i love about it. iv'e dropped my a couple times split sprite on it on accident, i cleaned most of it off and still works perfectly. The wireless feature also is a good thing that it came with! I Have had it for over a year now with my PlayStation 3 and i am very satisfied with this product. I hope this really helped.

This is a great controller and something that should have definitely come out with the Launch of the PS3. The Rumble function, just like the DS2 is great. It is capable of very subtle shakes all the way to a very forceful rumble. This controller is heavier than the Sixaxis, but the extra weight makes it feel more substantial and less flimsy. As for battery life, it is not bad, it might not be as good as the sixaxis but it still lasts plenty of time. I have been using it for many hours on GTA4 and the battery indicator has not dropped down yet.

the price is... horrible make it 45 at least but 55 dollars that is ridiculous but it is a good controller

I always have a problem buying a new controller when it costs almost as much as a new game, but in this situation I needed another controller. I have to say that the PS3 controller is an excellent quality, this is the first time I've replaced the controller and I've been playing on the original one that came with the system the first week it released. The DualShock feature works with Sony precision and I'm happy with my purchase.

I have used many different controllers in my life and this controller tops every single one, enough said. It fits well in your hand and is great if you just want to barley move your position just a little.

The DualShock 3 controller is a great controller for the PS3. The regular price is somewhat high, but when the controller is on sale it is definitely worth it. Even the regular price of the controller is worth it since it is a wireless controller that has the vibration feature added to it. The controller also seems to be heavier than the normal controller, which makes it seem more durable. I would definitely recommend the controller to anyone because it makes games more lively with the vibration feature.

love these controllers. They seem to last forever and i have never had one die on me. seem to hold charges very well

Everyone need's that second and third controller so they can play with their friends. So making the controllers expensive I feel is a bad move. Other than that I love the controller, has changed in 14 years but still the same and that's great.

After flooding killed my last PS3 controller (do not get these wet... they will die), I picked up this one as a replacement. Installation was easy (as opposed to a Wii mote, all I had to do was connect it to my PS3 with the USB cable and turn it on). Right out of the box, some of the buttons were really sticky, but after some use, they managed to operate more freely. Great controller... light, easy to handle, dual shock motion enabled, rumble capability. Can't ask for more.
