The Ps3 and subsequently all the older generation playstation controllers are the best for me personally. I have large but not wide hands and they feel great. A wired PS2/1 controller makes an excellent PC controller with a USB adapter. You can't go wrong with these. There's even ways to use the PS3 controller wirelessly on PC. The possibilities are endless. Look no further. Game On!

I drop this controller almost all the time, and it's still good as new and working properly. It has the best feel out of all the brands, and even if the analog stick gets dusty, you can easily remove and clean it. Do not choose any other controller brand if you have the choice, this easily is the best, and the original.

i like this one i use to have one just like this one but it messed up on me to so i went to gamestop and got me one but way diffrent then this one

I like how light it is and easy fit around your hand and where the buttons are. I love that it is wireless and that I got the one that is Dualshock 3 which is real light and not heavy to hold in your hands.

I got 3 PS3 controllers for my nephews, they are very happy with it, I think the price is fair because they are originals

Wireless controllers with rechargeable batteries make this an improvement over PS2 controllers that we went through disposable batteries like water!

This controller feels a bit lighter compared to the ps2 dualshock but heavier than the six axis controller. I recommend getting a charge station for it so you don't have to remember to plug in the USB cord to charge it while you're not playing or have an extra controller charged up. It just sucks when you're ready to dish out a few good hours of playtime when your controller dies and you have to sit close to the system because you can only play with the USB cord connected.

If you are looking to buy a new contoller for your PS3, get this one. Yes, it will cost you more money than a third party controller but it's worth it. I have used a lot of Logitech, MadCatz, and other third party controllers. They all start falling apart after a couple months. Do yourself a favor and get this controller. Plus, lots of games for the PS3 need the Six-Axis and this is the best controller for that.

Good OEM stuff - price is a little high but good solid controller

This is one of those purchases that you don't even have a choice in, so why fight it? Soon (if not already) you'll only be able to get dualshock in stores. For those of you who don't care about the function, you can find the version of the controller on online shops for cheap. But for the purist gamers out there, who want to experience everything the game has to offer, just get this. OH! And make sure it comes with the cord. My first one didn't.

The controller was designed solid by Sony. Nothing special, I find it better comfort over third-party controllers. Battery life is on average when compared to Wii and Xbox 360 rechargeables (5-6 hours continuous play). Full Charge via USB averages around 4 hours. It's difficult to understand for $55 it's just the controller and no USB Mini cable included to charge it. Even a 4" cable doesn't cost more than $.50. Would it be nice for Sony to pony up and offer a USB with the controller? Not too much to ask for. It would upset others if you don't have a handful of them around. Again, Solid controller I find hard to replace with any other third-party.

Every ps3 need at least more then one controller. Why not get this one. A Sony ps3 controller. .

I have not been a fan of all those controller buttons since the Nintendo 64 came out, but I can actually use this controller. It is very comfortable, has well-marked buttons that are easy to reach, excellent features like the PS button and USB port, holds a charge for a very long time, and has great "shock" effects. The latter are just enough to tell you something is going on but not so much that it is annoying. I like the thumb sticks, too.

This is a great upgrade from the regular six axis controller. The six axis was very very light, and there was no rumble. With the Dual Shock 3 it actually feels like a controller and there is rumble now. The only downfall about the controllers are the triggers. The triggers feel like mush. Specially compared to the xbox 360 triggers. Also there is not enough rumble. But other than that this is a very nice controller.

Don't bother with knockoffs, Sony still makes the best controllers for the PS3.

i love this controller this is the controller that should have released with the ps3 but i guess its better late than never its a good controller only complaint is not all games are compatiable at release you need a patch through the psn to give some games the rumble feature but other wise good controller

I purchased my Dualshock3 controller last month and i was very impressed in the added vibrate function compared to the Sixaxis controllers. Also this controller feels more comfortable in my hands than the sixaxis'. the added weight of the controllers make for more comfortable and extended gameplay

This is by far the best Controller I have ever played with. It has amazing rumble great button layout And Of course its wireless. The playstation button is a very nice feature. Plus The Controller actually Can be gripped unlike the xbox gamepad which rests agaisnt your hands. Great Controller.
