I owned a PS2 and when I bought my PS3 this controller wasnt around so i felt like my PS3 was missing something, but now it feels complete. A must own for every PS3 owner.

The design of the controller fits snug in anyone's hands. It's durable yet light weight. But for $ 60 you'd think a USB portable charger would come with it sadly it does not

I really like using this control over the Sixxaxis. The rumble works as you would expect it to, and the battery life doesn't seem to take a hit for that functionality.

Very easy to use and love the wireless remote compared to the old PS2 unit.

this is the best ps3 controller to really have. like its only a little bit heavy and it lasts a long time. and looks good to. and nothing really bad about it.

this controller is worth the money big time as it is wireless i thought at first it be a waste of money but its not it was well worth buying it

I LIKE THE REMOTE BUT I EXPECTED MORE SINCE IT WAS AN UP GRADE FROM THE PS2 BUT OVERALL IT IS STILL A GOOD PRODUCT IN MY EYES THE ONLY THING I DONT LIKE IS THAT I HAVE TO PLUG IT IN ON TO THE CONSOLE TO RE-CHARGE IT.

They really perfected the design of the dualshock controller with this one. Actually prefer it over the PS4 controller:/

This is an awesome controller. Very durable and well made. Battery life is good and lasts for 1-2 weeks depends on how much you play.

It does not come charged, but it only takes maybe 45 mins to charge; and it still works while plugged in though it is charging, so you can plug it in an go until it charges.

Ran out and got this sucker last night. Remember to charge it before using and make sure you set up through the USB. It worked great. I went back and found a wrestling game WCW/NWO Thunder game and it was working fine. Then I tried Street Fighter Anniv. Collection and it worked even better. It was when I got to Motorstorm. I went in and cranked the vibration to HIGH and boy this thing reacted great. Not as harsh as the original Dualshock, perfect inbetween. I'm sure it will be included in bundled PS3 system boxes in a few months. Buy it kids!

I like that it is wireless and rechargable but i woudl like to see sony come up with a new design for a controller sometime. At least soeny made it wireless, rechargable, and has six access motion

I love this controller. It is heavier than the regular sixaxis so it feels more substantial in your hands. The buttons feel more substantial as well. When playing Gran Turismo, every contact is felt on the controller. The best part is the intensity of the rumbles. If the car just grazes another car or the curb, the rumble is ever so detectable. If you hit the wall or another car going 130 mph, the rumble is enough to make you wake up! I love PS3 and everything associated with PS3. I highly recommend Dualshock 3.

Controller works like it should and is just as sturdy as any stock OEM PS3 controller. Big gripe is no charger cable included for what you're paying for it. $54.99 + tax for a controller is rediculous enough, but for that price they should at least be tossing you a cheap, short cable for it. As long as you're not getting a cable, you might as well pay the extra 5 bucks for one of the combo packs on this site that has the controller + a couple games and at least get a little more value for the cost...

I know your probably thinking, that is a lot of money for a controller and why should I buy one just because it vibrates. Well you don't know what your missing in the games until you get one, I was on the sidelines for a while but it was definitly worth buying after playing with it. It is heavier then the sixaxis controller, but in a good way. Vibration feature feels stronger then any other PS3 controller ever made. Battery life is similar to that of the old ps3 controller, 12-18 hours.

This is a great controller, it doesn't deserve 4 stars but it doesn't deserve 5 stars...It doesn't deserve 5 stars because the rumble isn't dispersed enough on the controller, the main part of the rumble is in the center more to the left of the controller and when it rumbles the left side is more shacky then the right, the rumble part does a decent job on the top buttons though...It also has SIXAXIS motion sensing, great for Ratchet and Clank:TOD and other games that use both features

the latest and the greatest controller for any system is now out. When i had first bought the ps3 i was disappointed the the controllers lacked vibration i thought of ordering one for japan but decided it was worth the hassle but now that the dualshock3 controller has been released in the us ps3 gamer can rejoice although the vibration doesn't work on all pre-ds3 games you can expect the the game creators will take advantage of the new feature and put it in later game.

Very satisfied with this controller. It's comfortable and responsive. Can't beat BB's price as well.

I wanted to get a dual shock controller anyway but last week my other six axis battery died so I was forced to. After one week I'm very happy with this one. My advice to everyone is buy the service plan when you buy a controller my old six axis controller cost me $60 when I bought it and it lasted less than 18 months. I payed $9.99 for a 3 year service plan when I bought my dual shock so if it goes out I'll get a new free. A well spent ten bucks if it happens.
