thugs took my controllers but at least left my game. had to replace and this is better than the cheaper controllers in my opinion.

To be honest, I am quite surprised that I am writing this review.I have never had trouble with any Sony products before, including PS3 controllers. This time, however, the controller died within a few weeks of buying it. I never let it drain completely, and I made sure to plug it in whenever it told me the battery was getting low, but it is completely dead. I'm giving this review three stars because I have a sneaking suspicion that it was just a defective controller this time. I own three others that work perfectly fine.

I bought one and had an issue with the joy sticks when you push them down.. I guess it was one that was just defective..

This is one of the those situations where you get what you pay for. There are cheaper controllers out there but, they don't last as long as the Sony brand ones. My last one lasted through my husband and two kids for the last 6 years and only died when a friend threw it during a hissy fit after he lost his game.

Had a few of these already. Play a lot of racing and war games. Every so often the sensitivity of the controller is off but the reset button the back corrects most issues.

works like it should. needed extra controller since battery dies faster then ps3 now have a total of 3 ps4 controllers

Feels comfortable, even after long hours of play. Does't break usually (even after many "accidental" drops)! It doesn't compare in design with other bulky type of controllers.

Great product for a great price!! Needed to replace old control with a new one and the price was lower than most stores.

This is like my 6th controller for my ps3.... sometime you just twist them like a candy cane when you loose. :)

I needed to replace my old Sixaxis controller and wanted the heft and rumble that the DualShock provides. Nothing to complain about here except that I wish Sony would drop the price of these controllers considering how long they've been out and the fact that we're in the next gen age. A $39.99 price point sounds better to me

My husband wanted a new controller for his ps3 and this one works the best. Other ones we tried kept breaking.

I bought this as a replacement controller since my first controller went out after having it for 7 years. I picked this one up before the PS4 controllers are the only thing stocking the shelves because I plan on keeping my PS3 for a while. It is still a comfortable and user friendly controller for a casual gamer like myself.

I have to have my controller. I've noticed that the off colors one's doesn't last as long as the black one's.

Always buy the certified PlayStation controllers, nothing works better

They've improved this controller on the older versions of the DualShock 3 and I don't have any issues with this newer version that I did with the previous version. It's comfortable, easy to grip, and official, so you can't beat that! Use Best Buy's price matching if you find a better deal elsewhere... can't beat that!

Its a great buy for the price. Came on time and well packaged. Was the cheapest we could find when compared to other online venders, but we got this when it was on sale.

Needed an original controller since the gimmicky one that I had died. No complaints; sometimes simple is better.

I love best buy but wish I could win a shopping spree to purchase some things. I like best buy products overall.

It does the job, my son likes it. He really likes the vibration feature. It seems a little more durable then past controllers.
