Had to replace my old controllers and this was a great purchase

The remotes lately tend to go bad quickly. They stick and move by themselves. Still better than most after market remotes.

This controller is the same as the original equipment that come with PS3.

My old controllers had become less accurate due to many years of use. Picked up this controller on sale when I was just visiting. Was worried it might not be an authentic Sony controller as I have seen many 3rd party controllers marketing the packaging to appear close to Sony look. It appears to be a genuine controller and works fantastically.

Sony is the brand for the console and therefore I like to stay with the OEM because I know there is quality built in.

PS3 controllers are almost always reliable but I personally feel $60 is just a little high for previous generation technology.
